Bloodstained in 4K

Ok I am not here to raise 4k on a pedestal (if there were people harshing on SD and HD I'd still say something), whatever type of resolution you are happy with, cool. but don't down something cause you think it's useless... this is the same thing that happened to HD when it was coming out... people were saying there is no point to upgrading to "yada, yada. yada" well now HD is the standard. I bet the same argument of, "there is no point to have 1080p screens... it just stupid" again now it's a standard.

All of these arguments have been heard. but 4k is still coming and will be a standard in a few years... then people will complain about 8k resolution.

About being 7" close to get the full value... that's not right, around 7" is when you will start to see a difference. you can get farther if you want... it is not a NEED... people that are ranting about this technology most likely doesn't own it.

so in closing for those of you interested in 4k click here it is the most honest 4k explanation I can find... they don't rave about it, they just state facts about it.

after this I will no longer counter argue the 4k point anymore.

hmmm....? your right... but does anyone have a ps4 connected to a 4k tv? the output is HDMI 1.4 which will play 4k content but only at 30fps... I cannot wait till game systems play 4k content in 60fps.

So because side scrolling games usually don't push the systems GPU, it might run at 60fps... but I don't really know. can anyone confirm this?

That isnt sub 60fps by design though...

I totally can imagine it in 4k.. because I don't sit close enough to my not huge monitor to be able to see the difference... and my eyesight is good btw =P.

this thread was attacked by a troll so it's not you, but because of that, I was trying to steer this thread toward a positive light.

so I am sorry for calling you a troll. but I wanted a serious conversation on the subject... and it's sad, I most likely won't get it. 

again it's not you. I am not usually this sensitive, it takes a lot for me to get mad and if I do I just stay away from the place that got me mad... the antagonist was a person called stimpy the first post they wrote wasn't bad (it is saved on the first page as a quoted), but the follow up was bad... what he wrote after had me seriously thinking of leaving this forum (still thinking it)... it just stopped being fun. He used the first post to "bait" me into an argument... but I already said I was done debating 4k (all my arguments for 4k is on the first page)... than he called me a "toxic" or something... so yeah that was the troll, not you.

so after that experience... I was a bit tired of people commenting on a 4k thread when they don't like 4k... anything. I understand you do not like 4k and I am ok with that. I don't think you are a bad or negative person, or anything like that... I see you were just joking, I understand. I jumped the gun and again I am sorry.

but if you read the thread I, as I said in my last post, was trying to shift the focus of the thread into a positive place....
 

yeah, I didn't notice there was a difference in the name (besides the obvious uppercase letter), I thought both of them were you... when most people read something they read the first letter (maybe the first two letters) and the last letter (maybe the last two letters) and to me they were the same name lol now that you pointed it out to me, I see the difference.

Now getting back to the post, yes I don't mind opposite opinions and for the most part I respect them... actually in the thread Do we need Sub-weapons? Cale changed my mind on the whole matter... he was thorough and explained why he sub-weapons were good and though I still don't use many sub-weapons in my play through, I do have a deeper respect for them.

now if people tell me why they do not like 4k I can take it. but don't use the myth of, "you HAVE to be this close to even tell the difference..." it's just not true. they said that about 1080p as well- now I'm just repeating myself (if you want to see my rebuttal check out my previous post on page one). there is a lot of hate for 4k and I know the them all, as I said I am getting a 4k tv (55 in. cause any bigger would be stupid... unless you have a bigger place which I do not have). I've read the pros and cons on owning a 4k tv (it took me nearly a month of reading to decide).

look bottom line, real 4k (with real 4k content) will look better than 1080p no matter how you slice it... of course that is, when you are sitting at any standard distance from your tv (that mean however far away you sit from you tv right now)... it will look more fluid... And I understand there is little to no content out for it now. and yes it is stupid to buy one just to show off, it won't be worth it. (I am waiting for the price to go down right now)  

But the post is for Bloodstained in 4k... it will be out when 4k will be a standard or will be getting closer to becoming a standard... so the thread is not about if you like 4k or not it is weather you think Bloodstained will be in 4k and how you feel about it.

if you don't think it is worth it, cool I will respect that. even people that will play it on a CRT tv and are happy with it cool, that is your preference and I will respect it... but hating something you don't have, never seen or hating something just because you've read that it's "stupid" is not an intelligent argument IMO...
