Hello members of the official forums! There is a podcast out now that directly focuses on the Bloodstained community and game news. The first episode features Dan Moore from Fangamer and I talking directly after the first Kickstarter surveys were sent out. If you would like to listen to the show there are several ways to subscribe to the Bloodstained Community Broadcast. It is available on iTunes, Stitcher, YouTube, and WordPress. The best place to talk about it is on the forums.The show will be searchable in the iTunes store in about two days, and the Stitcher show will have an updated title and art soon, but I wanted to go ahead and get it out to everyone should it be something you are interested in hearing. By now you should have gotten an email from Fangamer with your survey. If you have general questions regarding the survey, read This Post on the forums and then ask there. Fangamer is getting many emails lately, so the community might be able to help before Fangamer can. Also, you will notice that Steve from Fangamer is active in that thread. If you haven't got your survey yet, you can email them at orders@fangamer.com. Of course, first make sure it didn't get filtered as spam for some reason. Dan Moore was a great guest host for our first show. Check out his story The Big Sleep Together, and come say hi to him on the forums! All the music from the show and more can be found Here. Just finished listening to it. That was really an excellent broadcast, IMO. Mike's a great host and Dan was a very thoughtful, knowledgeable guest.

That was a great first episode! A job well done all around - good host, good questions, good guest. A shame some of the questions we had collected in the other thread didn't get asked but it seems clear following the interview that Dan probably wasn't the right person to ask (at least at this point in time). It's encouraging to hear that they are indeed working on community management and that it should be resolved soon. The one thing I would say is I don't think I'm a fan of having music playing in the background while you guys are actually talking. I could still hear what you guys were saying but I felt I had to work just a bit extra hard to make sure I caught everything. Of all the podcasts I've ever listened to, I don't think I've ever heard one where there was music playing in the background of any actual interview or conversation segment. So yeah, I probably wouldn't do that in the future. Otherwise great job.

What a great first episode of the podcast. XombieMike you did great, and I can't wait for the next one.
I can't thank you enough for all the hard work you must have done and still do on a daily basis. Also for everyone else that has, and is helping keeping this community strong and growing.

Well you're the boss here and as I said I thought you did a great job overall on the 1st episode. I just feel I have to stand on this point (though you are of course free to continue to disagree) - I can't agree with anything that makes the important content of the episode - the words of the host(s) and the guest(s) - harder to hear, even if its only slightly. Hopefully whatever new mix you use makes sure this is a non-issue (though I imagine it would be impossible to beat no background music  ). |

I've listened to a lot of podcasts, and my opinion on background music is very solid. I do like to give people what they want, but it would take more than one person to change my mind.

So, I was just browsing Stitcher for new podcasts because I need more good shows when I happened to browse the "Top Movers" category. The Bloodstained Community Broadcast is #6 right now! How cool is that?
