The thing with Shantae is that she wasn't as popular in 2013 as she is now. And since the campaign was already over and people didn't know about the slacker campaign which ran on for a year+, it wasn't going anywhere. There wasn't enough word of mouth or media coverage to get it out there. Indivisible MIGHT have a shot so long as people are informed that they can still pledge and there are still things that could be added to the game that make it worth it. History doesn't have to repeat itself and we got generous fans. I won't say it's guaranteed, but I'm not giving up.

There's a stream going on right now to celebrate the end of the campaign. Some of the Lab Zero artists drew sketches for backers earlier, but I don't think they're doing that anymore. Right now they're playing Guacamelee. UPDATE: A new incantation was revealed on-stream. Bishe ninja. LZ sounded like they haven't decided on a name for him yet. UPDATE 2: Final campaign numbers. It also looks like InDemand (the slacker backer campaign) kicked in immediately.

There's a slow but steady increase in funds as time goes on. We may see multiple endings funded by next year unless current or new backers pull off another miracle. In the mean time, I'm enjoying what we got. Other than the music, all of those will be post game launch content. The base game is on the way. That means I can stop reading Skullheart memes for now. What a relief....

Well Well Well. We're about 2 grand away from that opening. Most likely due to limited tiers and not much room for upgrading, it's been REALLY slow. I'd be surprised if we EVER reached that voice acting goal these days. I thought it would have been easy. But now? I'm thinking either we'd have to convince a ton of new people to dip or almost every pay day a group of dedicated fans get multiple copies or both.

Yeah. It feels like the hype train died down once the updates stopped. There was never an update for the incantation that was revealed on the final campaign stream.

There was no update due to holidays and them wanting a break. They deserve it. Thing is, I think that it might work against them. The hype train should NEVER stop. It's going to be tough with an RPG that will take about 21 months at the very least to make(According to what they've been saying), and only has a short prototype that most have either already tried or watched someone try. I'd double dip or so for the sake of getting voice acting and stuff, but I've already pledged an uncharacteristically high amount as it is for a stuffed toy. Not to mention the main campaign and extension that I've been furiously trying to get people to check out. It worked, but I'm tired too. I probably lost people's attention due to the shilling, but it was worth it. These guys deserve it.
Update: SECOND STRETCH REACHED. WE OPENING NOW! Oh and the studio is Madhouse.

I don't see the identity of the studio revealed on any of their official channels. Do you have a source/link? I wouldn't want to spread misinformation (or if this is legit info I wouldn't want it spread unofficially considering the studio was pretty strict in how they wanted their name revealed). Anyway, cool to see the second stretch goal was reached though there was never any question if it would hit the mark or not IMO. On a side note, I found a quick sketch on Miriam done by Kinuko. Looks like it was one of those finale stream sketch requests:

Update 49 came out a while ago basically going over some aspects of environment design for the game. Kai Kennedy (VA for Beowulf) recently interviewed Lab Zero's new Lead Environment Artist Eric Kozlowsky. They go over his time growing up, his history in the game industry, talk about Lab Zero and Indivisible, etc. I thought it was a cool interview so if you have 90 minutes to kill I'd give it a listen <3 Below is a demonstration of some of the in-progress weapons
