Maybe Konami will go out of business and when the Castlevania IP gores up for Sale, Iga and everyone involved with making Bloodstained can quickly nab it. Giving Iga his baby back.

I need mod advice!"..and some want it to EXCLUSIVELY be "Help! please hang and murder this evil poster scum!" (note I'm not trying to make the 2nd response seem bad, but am rather trying to poke fun at how easily some people use the report function for that purpose). |

You could always tag the mods to get their attention. Or you could PM the mods/admins as well. |

Dragonbydegrees...XD Anyways Ghaleon, don't worry about PMing Mike, I've done so and he's a really cool guy  He's here to help us out after all, as are the other mods, so don't be afraid of PMing them if you have any questions ^^ Anyways, Mike also told me political discussions are fine as long as they're cordial, which we are, so that's good. That said, I just wanted to give a little clarification, I didn't mean to send the thread off topic...you can ignore my link if you'd like, hehe. Back to the subject of Konami, Ixbran, that's an idea, I'd like to see CV back in IGA's hands...though of course, I wonder what would happen to Bloodstained in that case. Maybe they'd merge or something? In any case though, that doesn't seem to be happening any time soon, so lets just be glad we have bloodstained |

I know Igarashi stated he would happily work on another Castlevania game if Konami ever asked him for it, but between now and if/whenever that happens, how much damage would Konami have done to the IP and their own reputation by then? At this moment, some gamers don't care as long as it's a good game (like my brother), but some who feel personally offended would maybe try our best to buy it used to not directly support a company because of their recent actions, or some would buy it to support the idea of Konami going back to making games (or to support Iga). The whole situation is conflicting.

I'd really hope that folks would want IGA back badly enough that we could all ignore the damage that Konami is currently inflicting upon the series. I still really want that Julius-centric game set during the Demon Castle War of 1999! In the meantime, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will surely become one of the best "Castlevania" games ever made! |

"getting fired because someone else finds out youre lgbtwtfbbqwhatever and pitches a fit to management who fires you for 'performance issues'" Astaroth, I think in the U.S. at least, civil rights legislation has made that illegal nowadays  I'm pretty sure LGBT people are protected under our employment laws, at least to some extent: www.cnn.com/2013/11/07/politics/senate-lgbt-workplace-discrimination/index.htmlpassed in the senate, died in the house, there may be some protections put in recently but if there are theyre only for govt jobs, and even if those protections were in place everywhere the employer could just invent some other reason to get rid of you and then youd have to wade through the red tape spending your lack of money to prove it. and yes some employers take offtime monitoring to stupidly scary lengths. but my actual point still stands, every culture has business practices that make you go  whether its a good or bad practice in reality >P |

Wow, that video explains a lot of why Silent Hill went down in quality so fast over the years. I never knew things were that bad at Konami. Even the best companies have their downs, but the atmosphere Konami seems to support seems even more self-destructive than anything else. It may save them a bit more in costs, but for a company that is supposed to actually "design and create" products, doesn't seem like a healthy practice at all in the long run. I guess we'll just have to wait and see the consequences of what they practice.

Konami, to me, has been screwing up since 2006 or 7. I was willing to give them a chance after the decent 2010 digital event, but they failed to reach my expectations, which were far from high or even middling. We didn't even get that Contra game they teased. I'm waiting for the Contra pachinko game and the Frogger one too. May as well do it for all the franchises. Again, I hope those employees move on to greener pastures.
