I have a pretty specific one.
I was playing handheld, no problem. Docked, spoke to the NPC who gives you killing quests, and the background was distorted. Saved, spoke to Jonathan and crashed. I have 20+ hours and all 3 of my crashes have involved NPCs. So clearly interacting with them, along with going from docked to undocked, causes issues.

My PC from 2010 can run this game with all settings maxed out but it can`t run Diablo 3 as well as my Switch. As a gamer I don`t care about the development process, this Bloodstained port is just bad and not acceptable. Needs 60 FPS and no less

Livre ex Machina is unplayable. Switching between rooms takes up to 10 seconds, and this is infuriating when jumping. reaching another room briefly and falling down again. Such a jump can take up to 20 seconds of just black screen.
I'd make a video for you, but you know, this title does not allow video capture. Way to piss on your own feet there!

I'm about 45 hours into my blind playthrough on the switch, and I've crashed SOOOOOO many times. Likely 15+. I'm definitely not buying the PC version despite how much I want it, and how well it runs. Pretty saddened by the fact that they haven't yet released the "July 15th"-ish patch... also knowing that that it'll be a while before the game's actually good and playable on the switch properly. I really like the game. When I'm not crashing and losing 2 hours of progress farming or more, it's great. But this leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. As far as specifics go, the weird part is that I almost always crash in the village area with the vendors. 80-90% of the time. Either at the alchemist or the farmer, or just jumping the platforms in the middle room. Which is terrible. Right after visiting the vendors is usually when I remember to save, so this guarantees I wind up losing the most progress. I've been trying to save more frequently, but autosave culture has really beat this out of me. It isn't something I've had to worry about for a minute. I play the game docked most of the time, feeding the hdmi signal to my monitor, and having a headset plugged into the audio port on the switch. There's also a bug where, when swinging a greatsword in midair, and then landing, I will perform another greatsword attack that does not strike the enemy, wasting all kinds of time. This seems to happen mostly when I have the Greatsword expertise shard as well as the optimizer shard running. I don't know if it's something to do with the shards stacking, or if the game is trying to prevent me from swinging midair, landing and immediately swinging again. Feels like a big waste, but greatswords are still my preferred playstyle. I've gotten somewhat used to it, albeit in a grumpy old man sort of way. I feel like the use of the blooddrinker shard at the blood fountain was not something the user should be left to assume. Playing through blind, I wasted probably 10-15 hours attempting to find any little thing that would help me jump onto a slightly higher ledge to get a chest that'd let me progress some other way. I figured the blood fountain had to be gone past by swimming, not draining.
Also, blindly playing through, I did not find anything to break the spikes in the tower. I managed to just heal my way through them, so not a big deal. It wasn't blocked access, just painful access. That I can deal with.

Bloodless boss refuses to drop shard necessary to end her battle.
Physical cartridge; New Game + Hard mode.
Equipment: Rhava Velar, Demon Horns, Flame Mail, Silver Power Ring x2, Over the Rainbow
Shards: 8-Bit Flame, Accelerator, 8-Bit Fireball, Optimizer, Buer Familiar
While attempting to get the medal for Bloodless, I continually ran into the following problem: overwhelming her with damage while she uses her Blood Steal regeneration causes the music to stop, Miriam to say "Congratulations," the medal to be awarded, but the enemy to remain in play, hopping about and attacking as usual. She deals damage but can take none, and no shard drops as a result. Thus, you remain trapped in the room, I assume, until you take enough damage to finally die (I didn't wait).
I was able to finally defeat the boss by either taking considerable damage (thus forfeiting my medal) or waiting until after the Blood Steal technique to finish her off.

I bought a physical copy of the game two days ago and started playing yesterday. So, I'm on patch 1.03. Tonight I've encountered crashes on three different occasions while playing docked, all at frustrating times because I keep losing shards and items since my last save: - Completed the quest to give Corn Chowder to the old lady. Attempted to open dialog with her again and the game crashed.
- Attempted to read the bookcase inside of the gear tower in Towers of Twin Dragons. Crashed as the book graphic appeared.
- Broke a candlestick in some single-screen corridor of the Garden. Crashed. Figured I was done for the night there.
In addition, I experienced some really bad slowdown in the aforementioned gear tower as I began to climb it, and I had a few instances where items dropped by enemies weren't being collected in that same room - Miriam just walked right over the item bag on the ground and nothing happened.

So the switch version still has MASSIVE performance problems. Fighting Iga today it froze for nearly 5 minutes. Enough time for me to look at several pages and then register on this site. Kinda feel cheated with the game as there should never have been this many issues with a game that is really no big difference from SotN. It froze while Iga used his ice attack though I was getting massive framerate drops during most of his attacks. Playing on a physical cart.

Hello, I was just playing the final boss Spoilers!! Dominique. I was dropping so many frames that i was dying terribly from easily avoidable hits with her whip. I got tired and stopped playing. I hope you guys patch this soon. There was also a lot of freezing when fighting in the millionaries room and the carpenters room.

No updates From 505. Who thinks it’s class action lawsuits time. It absolutely is. They should have had the balls to cancel the Switch release, or at least delay it indefinitely so we could buy another version. But no, they delayed it a week and sold it with deceptively better looking screenshots in the eShop. They knew. F*ckers.

Good luck with that class action lawsuit due to Switch performance. I can understand how some people could be a little disappointed in the quality, but there are plenty of people who love the game on that platform. The angry people are the loudest. The game is getting performance patches to address your concerns.

made an account to post this
switch physical cart, current patch
Boat octopus lady boss is still choppy as heck
screen loading times in the library are terrible. really terrible.
while fighting the twin dragon boss, I somehow fell under the boss several levels. when I ascended back to their level, I saw a stub where presumably a dragon tail was never modeled. seconds after I saw that, the boss died and I got the shard. I was using rank 9 dullaheads and rank 5 welcome company at the time.
karma is paying me back because every time I fight demon 44 on the train, the game freezes and I find myself killed. I guess I just don't get to 100% this game?
I can tell there's a fun game here, but I don't think we'll ever see it on the switch.

After redownloding the game. It will start like normal until the screen goes white. Then it may take over an hour to load if it does load. This is a new problem since I had to redownloaded the game. Before it worked perfectly fine. Tried to redownloaded it again but the problem still exists. Version 1.21.

So because I really like this game I went and bought it again this time on switch because I saw it was on sale and everything, honestly I was looking forward to playing it portable but it does get really laggy from time to time and even seems to slow down to a crawl when I use certain shards and now I have first familiar and it just wants to run slow all the time at first I was thinking maybe it was just because using an oled switch so it didn't have much support on it at the time and was looking to see if that's the case apparently that's just how it is on the switch period doesn't matter what type of switch honestly I do hope this is fixed because it is a great game I even accept the lack luster graphics a little though with how high graphics some games are its a little hard to but I am more concerned with the bad lagging especially if you are planning on adding the multiplayer mode I saw announced to the switch version

Other than the dead horse, which is that the Switch could definitely perform a lot better overall, I've noticed a specific bug, which is probably a memory leak of some kind. If I pause the game, and put the Switch to sleep for a few hours (or overnight for example) the game will stutter, and run at likely a 30% reduced frame rate, and have other sorts of hitches and timing issues. If I close the game and restart it, it is some improvement, but still not "perfect" (for how it typically runs on the Switch (post 1.3.1 patch)). If I completely reboot the Switch, then relaunch, the game plays the way it typically does. This has happened a few times (as I usually play it at night before going to sleep). The next evening when I start it up, it's in this state. My guess is it's a memory leak, and resources are low when the game is kept on for prolonged periods. I'm not 100% sure, but it also seems like some of it isn't released after just closing the app. So... when's that 60FPS optimization coming out? I also own it on Steam, so I know how it SHOULD play. I just prefer to lounge around on the couch or in bed to play games like this.
