I changed my wording from May to "coming updates" there because like the "mini" update and other cases, it may come sooner or later than the standard expected end-of-month one.

Ok so six weeks from release and we still don’t know a thing about any of the promised extra modes everyone should be getting thanks to stretch goals or the physical goodies us backers are supposed to get when the game ships.
I assume these are coming soon? Like next-week soon? What a better way to hype up the release than remind us (and show everyone else who don’t know) all the content the game will have besides just the regular game. Where’s the Classic mode? Retro level? Asynchronous multiplayer? Co-op? Etc.

That would mean they wouldn’t talk about these extra stuff until 2 weeks prior to release! They need to keep the conversation and hype up sooner! |

Funny thing, I've been seeing comments on Youtube and such that people are saying they are going to buy the game now just based on the new trailer's "confident" tone. They say they like the defiant attitude and that the developers listened to feedback. Bloodstained might get to be a success as a "social movement," regardless of the game itself, which is just bizarre. But if the game benefits from it, it can't hurt, and people might find they actually like the game itself.

But if the game benefits from it, it can't hurt, and people might find they actually like the game itself. right? the trailer was incredible and it earned the team massive amounts of respect, specially in a time like this when the gaming industry keeps dissapointing. however, one thing i noted was that the trailer was so effective that many people got "brainwashed" and of course they agreed to support the game and open their wallets. obviously many of them were exagerating to show respect to lord IGA. i hope atleast a small amount of those newcomers get to fall in love with the game. I say this because bloodstained is not for everyone, mostly due to its slow paced gameplay. but the trailer makes it look so damn good. btw... if IGA is lord Dracula. does that mean Angel Corlux is Death? |

Talking about what stretch goals will be released when is fine but I'd rather not see game play footage and images of the retro stage, classic mode, etc being published before the game is out. Those things are best left to discover by the player. Fair enough but I would like to at least know if they’re included on day 1 or not. It’ll help to hype up the game more if people outside of this select few faithful know just how much is in the game without showing them off explicitly. |

Yeah it's a tough balance of transparent accountability on delivering what was promised vs marketing vs saving things for the player experience. If Igarashi is the one making those calls, I know we're fine. Angel understands it too, so hopefully 505 at large can handle it well.
To be completely safe, I would advise against consuming related media for the next 1.5 months so that nothing is ruined for you. I'd do that myself if I wasn't so involved haha
