My lack of attendance is due to my children's summer vacation. My 13 year old daughter lives with my wife and I, while my 9 year old daughter still lives with my ex wife. I had not got to see my 9 year old for an entire year, so these past two weeks we have been having fun together and trying to catch up. Most of my time online this past two weeks has been when I'm at work on my phone, or after they go to bed. Yesterday I took both the girls to the airport and had some shopping and stuff to do with my wife afterwards. We will not have any kids with us until next Sunday when my 13 year old returns, so we are going to drive up to the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina for vacation. Today we are just relaxing and preparing for the drive and trip. Tomorrow and the next day I will be too busy driving and having adventures that I will not be able to do much here.

IntiCreates and FanGamer have yet to publish the new website. The forum upgrade from proboards to forums.net is underway. Dan Stern with Playism now has the administrator account. He has been extremely helpful and super nice as we communicate daily to transfer things smoothly. ProBoards has all the required information for the integration to the better system, and if I had to guess, they will probably do it sometime during their operating hours next week, but I have no solid date from them. I'm still unsure on exactly how much control I will retain under the new system when it comes to installing new features, managing the existing ones, or changing the look of the forums. I assume the "fresh coat of paint" will come from FanGamer, as they are awesome with that sort of thing. They are currently busy with their EarthBound convention. Have you streamed your first play through of that yet, SML? I don't know when the design will get a nice visual upgrade from what we have now, but I'm not going to wait around for it. If we can improve the graphics today I will be pleased. If they all were to change the day after, I'm sure it would be for the better. Honestly, I'm no website designer, I'm just a fan like the rest of us. Therefore I will be happy to hand over that responsibility in full. Until then though, I don't want our members to have a poor experience with the visual design. This place should reflect the quality we come to expect from what we have seen on the KS page and the art that has inspired fans.

My EarthBound stream will be this evening. I was all about EVO yesterday.

I am fading away with a sense of lost ownership since this is not my thing, I'm used to getting things done and it pains me to not be able to do work. It's not hard to build a forum, an obscure convention with a small amount of people is no excuse. It sounds like they need a creative director and a kick in the pants...

Putting dimension requirements for the everything would be nice, like the max needed size for a banner or background.

Yeah, I assumed that I'd work that way. I asked about the sizes because I was wondering how much upscale blur would be tolerable, as that is bound to appear for people using higher resolutions if the image size is a bit modest.

Does the 1 MB restriction apply to the background as well?
