Assuming there is a throne somewhere in the castle that looks like Dracula's throne. You could always have the character sit in it and joking say. " I'm Dracula Now! " This was always a running gag when playing Castlevania: Harmony of Despair with friends using Soma and his float ability.

"a familiar-looking rapier sword." (flavor text for "the sword of tepes" (an expy for the Alucard Sword))

"A golden ring to rule all!!" (a powerful ring flavor text, might be a reference to the ring of varda)

"die monster! you don't belong in this world!!" (flavor text for the hunters whip... an expy for the vampire killer. randomly shouted by miriam when wielding said whip)

"a weapon that is designed by the swordsmith *kickstarter donor* " (flavor text for kickstarter-designed items.)

"should i be eating this...?" (miriam finding food in the walls.)

"it's very fortunate this isn't spoiled!" (miriam finding food in the walls.)


"how long has this been here!?" (miriam randomly finding an item in the wall)

*cough cough!!* "how does Gebel let this castle get so dusty!?!" (miriam randomly finding an item in the wall.)

"eww! why did i eat that!?!?" (miriam on eating rotten food without a certain item equipped)

"hmm. for some strange reason, even THIS is appetizing..." (miriam eating rotten food WITH a certain item equipped.)

"EAGLE PUNCH/KICK!!!" (a reference to the falcon punch/kick, could be shouted at by miriam randomly when having certain fists equipped...)

"Truth, like a torch, the more it's shook it shines."
would like that to trigger when you find a secret/true ending route.

I didn't really suggest anything easter egg like I just had a couple suggestions :

1. Please give Familiars voice sample moments during certain events.

2. In moments where Miriam comes across a special place or an interactive location let her make comments on it. So let's say if she walked into the SOTN confession room she'd mumble : " I do have a few things I could confess..."

and special spells should have shout outs like Alucard did : " DARK METAMORPHOSIS.." but with whatever spells she has.


I guess for easter egg type stuff :

" Have at you " with an important boss?

" The Castle is a creature of Chaos.."

Some lines of that nature that aren't exactly the same but pay homage.

I am fine with the game being compared to SotN and the obvious 'inspiration' from it.

Just not a fan of directly taking a line out of other media and putting it into Bloodstained.

I never understood this anyway, I am sure Bloodstained on its own will generate plenty of quotes and memes and all that. I dont see why we need to force something else in, is all I am saying.

youd be surprised, look at all the jojo references that get made all the time and all the references and easter eggs to other things that are in games

Miriam : "Ugh."

Condition: Miriam Defeated by Gebel.

"I know you're in there...somewhere...."


Condition: Miriam changes to blond hair via customization and not as "Pure Miriam".

":sigh: It's not the same..."

Condition: Miriam uses the seat ability in a boss battle.

"Tell me when you're done!"

Condition: Miriam defeated by a tiny, 1hp enemy (the toad or something similar.)

"I'm...such a goof..."

Condition: Zangetsu enters Dominique's shop.

Dominique: "Zangetsu! How's my little goofball doing?"

Zangetsu: "Where?!-oh."

(Dominique laughs)
