Since it's late 1700's england maybe zombie redcoats who could be the remains of the british army's attempt to stop the demons. Kind of like in dawn of sorrow thier were zombie soldiers who were the remains of a army from the war of 1999.

There's actually a certain Boss enemy that I'd love to see re-imagined in Bloodstained, which has only appeared in one Castlevania game (so far as I know). I'd be happy if IGA, Inti-Creates, and co. decide to look at this and at least consider the idea. Gashadokuro (lit. "Starving Skeleton") This is easily one of the most horrific demons (yokai) from Japanese mythology. It's not just a "giant skeleton", but an amalgamation of skeletons from hundreds (or thousands) of people who've all died of starvation. ^ Perhaps more frightening is how stealthy this gigantic demon can be, turning invisible and sneaking up on unsuspecting victims, and then snatching them for a bloody feast. The only way you could tell if you're dangerously close to an encounter with one is a loud ringing sound. Even though this obviously isn't part of the "Lesser Key of Solomon", the Gashadokuro is still a Demon (I'd presume that the vast majority of enemies in Bloodstained will in-fact be demons, some of which will not be drawn from the Ars Goetia). I can only wonder where Magi-Crystals could be placed on its skeletal frame, if this were to become an enemy in Bloodstained. Perhaps some background/lore given to this enemy could be a reference to famines that occurred in both England and Ireland earlier in the 18th Century. Note: Since "Skeleton" enemies won't be common encounters in Bloodstained (outside of possibly the planned 'Retro' area), maybe the Boss Room in which you could fight this particular demon could be the only place in Gebel's Castle where you could encounter skeletons as normal enemies.

Maybe that could work, but I was thinking that it'd still be mostly bone. The Gashadokuro would be perfect as a Boss enemy for Zangetsu to face, him being a Demon Hunter and all. (if not Miriam as well)

(if not Miriam as well) or it can be all bone and there could be a crystallized heart in it's chest (still beating) and yeah I would love to see different bosses for each playable character... but I would like those bosses as secret optional bosses.

I hope that IGA incorporates some of the more 'fun' enemies that he's had in the previous games, ones like the Skeleton Bartender, the Chronomage, Yeti, Etc. :p
I like monsters that look gothic horror style, but it's nice to see variences in seriousness when playing the game.

I would like to see some enemy types that can grapple or do pro-wrestling moves on your character. Since the game is set in England, in the wooded areas or castle gardens how about some fairies (just like the fairy familiar from SOTN)? They can buzz around and cast annoying magic on you to slow you down for other creatures to attack you. Creatures out of the PS3 game Folklore, creatures from the bestiary of the Wyrdstone Chronicles, the Witcher or other folklore influenced dark fantasy.
Other creatures: Cernunnos
Giant worm burrowing out of the ground
Creatures similar to Pinhead and other Cenobites from Hellraiser (England in Victorian times had Hellfire Clubs dedicated to various vices, they can appear in a Hellfire Club room)
Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde
Dorian Gray
Alex and his droogs from Clockwork Orange (if there's a rundown town before the castle)
Some of the more fantastical depictions of Jack the Ripper
Springheeled Jack
Giant stag (for wooded areas)
Deep Ones/Dagon from H.P Lovecraft
Hound of Tindalos also from Lovecraft (have them teleport out of a top corner of a room)
Goatmen (randy beastmen that commonly appear in British fantasy novels to try and carry off their victims)
Redcaps (folklore evil gnomes that dip their hats in blood)
Giant jellyfish floating in the air
Smoke monster emerging from the alchemical smoke of a broken test tube
Mutant thugs from experiments of the alchemists (they can all kinds of bizarre appearance and random attributes such as hunchback, clubfoot, extra arm, extra head etc.)
A friendly dolphin or puppy

Satyrs? That's a good idea too. But the goatmen that I'm thinking of are something else. They're the type that you see in Diablo and are similar to certain depictions of the Devil. So they have a head of a goat, instead of just some tiny horns on a normal human head.

It appears on "The Devil" tarot card. The Khazra sure are beefy, they almost look like minotaurs with all the muscle they have. Anyways, has a Raiju been suggested? It is a Japanese beast whose body is composed of pure lightning. They can usually take the form of a cat, wolf, a fox, or a weasel. They have different forms though. But, I think it would be a good enemy to have have drop an "elemental" item though or have an elemental soul. If that has been suggested....how about a Jinn?

Technically speaking an "individual" Jinn is referred to as a Djinni, Jinni, or Genie. I think people just assumed Genies were different and always granted wishes and weren't evil (usually). You know, how they assumed the name of The Creature from "Frankenstein" was just named Frankenstein. Also LeoLeWolferoux , what is that picture? I never seen those before.

Oh haha they're 'Djinn' from a turn-based RPG called Golden Sun. As you adventure along you collect different ones and they makes you stronger, change your class, ETC. The Blue ones are Mercury djinn, (Water) the purple ones are Jupiter, (Wind) the red ones are Mars, (Fire) and the brown ones are Venus. (Earth) They also each have different effects. A mars Djinn called 'Scorch', damages enemies and has a chance to paralyze them, (I think) while a Venus Djinn called 'Flower' refreshes everyone and restores party HP and ETC. They're all pretty unique. :p

New takes on old favorites are always cool to see, but completely new monsters we've never seen before are what I'm looking forward to the most!
I've only played a few Castlevania games so I don't know if it's been done before, but what about an enemy based on Russian nesting dolls (matryoshka)? Defeating one reveals smaller and smaller ones nested inside and ultimately yields a cool item or gag gift that may not appear to be useful... at first!
More unique ideas for things we've never encountered before in the Castlevania series would be awesome to see :]
