Yeah? Well I want this to be an in game enemy: He would throw candles at us? Sure, lol. No he would run away if you got too close. But he would only replace the broken candles and ignore Miriam otherwise. I always figured that it'd be based on the rooms you'd been through and how long ago you were there. Something along the lines of the candle skeleton only appears in the room you've most recently left if you re-enter the room within say a duration of between 5 to 45 seconds, maybe set randomly or based on the size of the previous room. i.e. Lets say you had three sequential/linear rooms room 1, 2, and 3. (I know, real creative ) If you start off in Room 1 and proceed to Room 2, then if you re-enter Room 1 with in 5 to 45 seconds the candles you destroyed will still be gone but the skeleton will be there starting from the opposite side of the room progressing across (preset paths) spawning the new candles as needed. If you get too close (basically with in striking distance) the skeleton throws his stack of (unlit) candles in the air and runs away. I would say the candles should NOT cause damage. If you, however, do not re-enter the room within 5-45 seconds the candles are all instantaneously respawned. If you at any time proceed on to Room 3 from Room 2 (regardless of the time it takes to do that) the candles in Room 1 instantly respawn and now the timer starts for Room 2. Oh! And the candle skeleton would also never appear in dead-end rooms.

jim has Candle Skeleton figured out! I'd like to see it in game too, and from the way IGA talked in the Devs Play with Double Fine, I expect it to be included.

I would be completely satisfied if Bloodstained does not have any skeleton enemies at all...as long as Mr. Waxing Bone is on the candle job!!

Kill him, and you might get the ability to throw candles too! Kill him and the candles might not respawn for the rest of the game! I must say the more I think about it the more I like this idea. Except that I would make one change to my statement above. Not only would the candle skeleton run away if you got too close, if he took any damage he would also immediately run away as well. On easy/normal difficulty if you manage to kill the candle skeleton the skeleton will eventually respawn. It should happen maybe after 10-15 minutes and/or after exploring X number of rooms as in room transistions not necessarily NEW rooms. For the room transitions maybe somewhere in the range of 15 to 20. During that time all of the candles you destroy stay gone until the candle skeleton respawns. After he respawns all the candles in rooms that are not adjacent to the room you are in are instantly respawned and the timer previously described starts for both adjacent rooms and then follows the normal rules. If you are playing in hard or nightmare mode, if you kill the Candle skeleton he is gone for the rest of that game and does NOT respawn. And NEITHER DO ANY OF THE CANDLES YOU DESTROY!!! XD

XD This should be one of the Cheats for the game. Especially the permanent destruction of candles. I'd actually miss that candle skeleton if it was gone for the rest of the game. I guess I just won't kill it on Hard or Nightmare.

I really wish I new how to control the naming of those things. It should be winepng. hmm.. ok, did it work without screwing up all the previous ones??? Well, the good news is that I figured out how to rename it. The bad news is that it breaks all the previous images.

Is a wine glass? I couldn't tell. You could make the " " image the same as " ". Obviously there would be two wine glasses on the smiley menu, but that's the only way to not break the previous images as far as I know.

The bad thing about these smileys is that in mobile they don't show up. They just get the text. The text should say something that is related to the image. If we have two of the same image, people will continue to use both. If one is much better than the other we can eventually phase the old one out. I would rather fix this now than have it happen on down the road. Of course... we could just live with gold ol' and it's sequential brethren if it's that bothersome. Maybe there are some other options too. Like having the same image for both, but text on one of them or something. I'm open to suggestions.
