Oh BTW I almost forgot about it but the game must support different rumbling types. How do you mean? You're not just talking about HD Rumble on the Switch, right? Any kind of Haptic Technology use. Vibration feedback can enhance the experience too. I'm also in favor of using the speakers on the controllers for sounds about when you collect a heart etc.

I made a thread about this long time ago, It took me long to answer but I'll do it anyways.
Like many pointed out variation on death animations is important. You can go either by deaths unique to each enemies or death by the weapon used against them. If you can go far and spend more time and resources on development, you could handle both and make not only death animations unique for each monster but also for each weapon. In other words each monster will have unique death animations with each weapon or attack. Also not only death animations but damage animations as well where they're required will be a nice touch at least when a critical hit is done to them.
Also don't forget to add death animations for each of the characters that you use.

it wouldnt surprise me if skeletons arent a thing because china has a hard ban on skeletons and some other supernatural creatures, so having some kind of analog that fulfill the same lore and role while skirting using certain names to avoid those bans is a thing But...how would you get around this while still including skeletons? I don't like the idea of a game getting censored just because China says so. If IGA really wants to sell Bloodstained in China, he can just modify the appropriate enemies for the Chinese version only. It would really upset me if we got a gimped game because China. I agree, I won't tolerate censorship for the sake of anyone. I won't support any company that carters to it anymore.

The thing is that many of us thought that the game would look 2D on a 3D engine like Guilty Gear Xrd but with the art from this game artist instead of anime but sadly inti-Creates could not achieve what Arc System Works had achieved and went for their own thing simply using shaders with 3D assets so it looks like Symphony of the Night but IDK if it will work in the end. I will wait till the details get added, maybe with those the game will look better. This is unrelated to this game but here you can see the old model of 2B on Nier:Automata before the details got added. blog.us.playstation.com/2017/04/03/an-exclusive-look-at-the-creation-of-2b-by-nier-automatas-character-modeller/ So I guess that the characters and the stages are at phase #2.

It should look good when the texture, details and adjustments gets added to it. This trailer should not be near representative of how this game will look as it looks too rough to be even considered.

1- Cap lowering is not needed, just make enemies hit harder and do more complicated attacks. 2- No XP degradation please, this would increase the grinding time and it won't be needed if the XP curve is adjusted. 3- Breakable walls should stay hidden and such item should not exist. If they add it it should be extra hard to get like a additional castle area or even have the game completed as a requirement. But yeah in these days where internet is widespread it won't matter anyways. There's always gamefaqs.com 4- Jokes are welcome as it would follow tradition. 5- The skill should have a high cost and should not break the game.

Is that supposed to be moss or petrified magma? This stage needs a lot of work as the textures are also very bland. Also the contact shadow of Miriam was disabled?

When I had the money to buy the game back in the day it seems that it went out of print very quick because I remember seeking it out non stop. So I had to borrow it to play it. I beat it then got the fake ending and something bothered me and it was that the bestiary was not filled up so I went to explore a little more and found out how to get the true ending.
I currently have it on PSN because the PS1 version is pricey and hard to find and more in black label.
I still remember the X-X!V''Q

I will simply say that if the Wii U version gets cancelled and you don't plan on getting another console for whatever reason (mainly hardware limitations) keep in mind that you can sell your copy on ebay for a good amount. Also a game released as of now on the Wii U have more probability of being pirated than the Switch who is still unknown.

Whether the Wii U version will sell or not is very relevant. While campaign goals are important, they aren't all important. Ultimately, a product needs to sell. Even when money isn't your primary goal for making something, if it doesn't make money, you can't make another product afterward(unless you've already got funds to keep you going in the long term). The Wii U version shouldn't exist solely for the benefit of the backers, especially if porting the game would cost more money than the Wii U backers put in in the first place. Other Kickstarters have dropped ports when they were determined to be detrimental to the project, and IGA should be allowed the same latitude. How said backers are handled should such event occur is something that should be between him and them, but the existence of a port for a dead system is something that should carefully be considered, and not kept on solely because a plan was made before the system's imminent demise was known. That's a valid point, this thing needs to sell and the Wii U may held this game back. I'm sorry Wii U only owners but I've changed my vote at the poll so now I went to a Yes.

If I where more selfish I would had voted Yes because is for the best but at the same time I feel bad for the Wii u owners who pledged to this game. Full compensation should be given to them in the form of a choice of refund or system change. (Even thought I doubt that people that bought a Wii U will stay on that console forever since you either eventually move to a newer console or PC.) I doubt monetary compensation will be given but hey the backers exclusive copy will be rare on itself so perhaps you could sell it for a scalping price.

Can they start with procedural generation and then examine each stage and hand craft the details on them? My main concern is that some areas of the castle may not make any sense.
