For the moment no cause I'm (for the most part) happy with the tier ($125) I chose, but depending on when the survey comes (like say in a year or so) I might decide to go ahead and bump it up to either the $175 or $300 tiers. A year?! I thought it would be fairly soon. I've been constantly checking my inbox to make sure I don't miss it. I'll take a quote from fangamer here and say "Don't worry about it". Even if you should forget for a year, I don't think you're going to miss any chances to take a survey that will do what you need it to do. They've stated that there will be multiple surveys, multiple chances to change what you want. There will even be one just before the game ships to ensure that your address is still the same as it was, and so on.

That's an interesting idea.
You could make the rogue-like dungeon not just something you unlock after beating the game, but something that exists to enhance the main game itself.

Man, I agree with almost everything you guys have said I'll just add: A robust movement system. I want slide kick, dodge roll, jump kick, double jump, gravity boots(or something) etc. I think the thing that annoys me the most from the old games is the slide movement has a huge delay at the end. I feel like you should be able to jump out of it and do a jump kick or something, which will lead straight to another slide kick, and so on.

Don't give up yet, there very well may be.
They haven't said either way. It's possible Pure Miriam has angel powers, or something else entirely.

To expand further on what I want equipment to be...
They've stated that they want to make craftable equipment. You'll get non-rare drops from monsters that you'll be able to use to craft various pieces of equipment. I think it would be nice if equipment recipes weren't so cut and dry.
Say you have a recipe for that flame sword, well, what if it's not a flame sword recipe but an elemental sword recipe? You switch out the flaming eye for the icy husk and bam, ice sword. You switch out the rock turtle shell for a bone of an iron skeleton, and now you've got some sweet bonuses to your sword. Or something.

I don't think equipment should level. That's way too much for completionists, and it causes you to level down if your equipment isn't suited.
Instead, you could level certain abilities which are eqiuped. This would be similar to Harmony of Despair. They've already stated they want to make abilities equippable by changing out crystals.
I would like for this to work like the Mega Man Battle Network series. In these games you had various different abilities you could equip that either changed your skills or stats. You had to fit them in a box, kind of like tetris. Whether or not you had to puzzle piece them together I'd like it to work like that, and level abilities wit points or something.

I'm honestly only going to get a xone if a game comes out that I absolutely must have.
The chances of that are slim, since so far the only game remotely close to doing that has been Dark Dreams Don't Die, but it's also on Steam. All the series of games I like aren't on any X consoles. Tales of Vesperia is on 360 and that's really it.

Xbox consumers lost a lot of company faith when they announced their DRM policies. Even though they retracted everything, it still turned a lot of people off and now it's just this system to not even care about, for a lot of people.
There's that and the comparison to PS4 which it seems to be losing in. At the very least it MGS5 is going to run 1080p @60fps on ps4, but only 720p @60 fps on xone.

Personally I did $250 +$60. I wanted a digital for Steam, and maybe for Vita. And I wanted a physical for Ps4 and GOG or whatever. Dr free physical sounds very appealing to me.

My first Castlevania was Castlevania for the NES. It was one of those impossible games I could never beat as a kid. The difficulty ramps up in the second level when the Medusa heads start coming your way, and if you manage to get past those somehow, in the third area you're met with even more Medusa heads.
Life wasn't kind back then.
My next Castlevania game and favorite is Symphony of the Night. I had decided not to subject myself to such torment for a while. I kept an eye on the series somewhat but never got invested in it. Even after SotN came out it took me a few years before I picked it up. I really only took an interest in it when I started to see YouTube videos of it and heard the famous quote from the beginning of the game.
I still have yet to get into the rest of the series, but I'm a minor fan of the occult, so the series is still somewhat familiar to me. I still plan on getting into all the GBA titles, but other games get in the way at the moment.

Splatoon is a fantastic game. There are minor gripes a lot of people have, but I think most of them are appealing to me, due to them adding to the balance. The max level could be increased... but there's also a rank, too.

I got an external portable drive for my Wii U in anticipation of Xenoblade X, so I'm not worried about having it on digital on any platform. That said, I love having the physical copy.

Nope. Inti Creates told him that they would fund the rest of the game if only a demand was proven.
The total funding was $5 mil. We blew that out of the water.

The thing I actually want to know is something I just thought of.
This has to do with Might No. 9, of which Inti Creates is also the developer of (who are the developers of Bloodstained). $500,000 was only supposed to be 5% of the budget of Bloodstained, of which the other 95% I believe was coming from Inti Creates. My question is: Did Mighty No. 9 get an outside budget, or was it all Kickstarter?

That's basically the story Hybrid. Koji went to just about any company he could to make his sale. I believe they even reached out to Western developers. They all turned him down. The only ones who went for it were Inti Creates, who have always wanted to make a Castlevania game. IC still put on the requirement of proving a demand, which kickstarter proved.

Did we fund it or not? :-P lol Real question? The goal was $500,000 We did $5,750,000 (at least) It's funded more than 10x over. Not only that, but the developers were already pitching in an additional $4,500,000. This game has a budget of over $10,000,000 now.

I cringed every time while the developers of Dot Matrix Hero were up. That guy didn't even want the controller in his hands lol. But, at the same time, he drew information out of him that he otherwise wouldn't have put out there, he seemed like a pretty shy guy.

It's interesting to note that her hair twirls are gone in the Pure outfit. I've been speculating this for a while, but I think her hair symbolizes snakes in a way. At least, snakes twirling around each other is a theme used in a couple of symbols. It's most notably similar to the symbol Caduceus, the staff of Hermes. In modern times, the Caduceus is seen as a symbol of medicine, or even DNA.
It also has an attachment to Alchemy, which is probably where it's more important. In Alchemy, it's a symbol that refers to duality or balance. This would likely refer to a duality within Miriam, regarding her crystallized human body, I would guess that her having a balance between the two is also what will lead her to ultimate victory.
Another portion of the Caduceus is a pair of wings that sits at the very top of the staff. This is also displayed in the artwork, with a pair of wings being displayed behind Miriam (though seemingly not attached to her back, or anywhere on her body). The wings on the Caduceus could mean a many number of things. I don't really know what it could mean in this context, for sure. However, it is the staff of Hermes, who would guide souls into the afterlife. Maybe this means Miriam will act as a spiritual guide in some manner.
