During the first few frames of falling after walking off a platform, when Miriam tucks her legs in, it's still possible to jump. I'm not sure if this is actually a bug or not, but even if it is you might want to leave it in as a technique for people to find on their own to get a bit of extra horizontal jump distance. Also, bit of a hurr-durr obvious thing, but if anyone else out there is using xinput wrappers for their controllers be sure to use the 64bit versions. This caught me up for a bit since I'm still so used to only utilities coming in 64bit flavors I didn't even think to pay attention to the 32/64ishnes of Bloodstained. Squirrel TaskmasterDid you actually get this to work completely? When I tried using the 64-bit version of x360ce, it seemed to work well at first, but then I exited the game and then it didn't work right. After that, some of the button mappings worked correctly and others didn't. I gave up and went back to using a regular 360 controller, but sometimes when using that I get unwanted inputs causing me to run to the left.

Another thing I forgot to mention that I'm not sure whether is a bug or intended: when you backstep off the edge of a platform, Miriam tends to stop dead then "trip" off the back of the platform with no momentum. Contrast this to e.g. Dawn of Sorrow or Order of Ecclesia where you preserve at least some momentum as you go off the edge, though you don't necessarily preserve full speed of the backstep.
This also seems to happen sometimes (but not always) backstepping down staircases.

Another thing worth mentioning: you can get juggled pretty hard while being knocked back. I managed to get triple-juggled on the boss once:
(warning and apologies, there's a "holy s***" in there)
I get that the tentacle should at least stop my movement, and I'm not sure if there's a split second there where I can actually get away, but it seems rather unforgiving. I remember playing a game called Valdis Story which I dropped like a rock when I saw how horribly cheap the bosses could cheese you into infinite-juggle deaths (though that wasn't the only reason I dropped it), so I really hope that mistake isn't made here.

Not entirely a bug/glitch but definitely something that should be fixed. If you get a shard and change rooms before the shard reaches you, you permanently lose the shard (accidentally fell into a hole after i killed something and saw it flying toward me, checked inventory in the next room and no new spells added).

Doesn't sound like a bug. It makes sense that you do not gain something if you do not pick it up, or give it enough time to absorb it. Also since it isn't something you can miss, as in it only happens once in the game, I do not see an issue with it. Just means you've got to be more aware of what is going on on screen. The only time I can see this being an issue is if you were to open a chest or something and you manage to move out of the room before you acquire it. If the chest would be still open after you enter the room, it would mean you have missed that pickup.

I was running in 1080p and using a steam controller and the only issue I had is starting ti caused BitDefender on my system to crash.

here i found a bug with the "Long" sword, kinda forgot to post it... We were testing this bug on our side but we were not able to replicate it. Do you remember what kind of steps you took in order for this to happen?

Leon You can also jump in midair if you press jump immediately after walking off the ledge of any surface. Edit: Though, after reading up on it a bit, this may be an intended mechanic to mimic behavior in Symphony of the Night. This is intentional and mimics Symphony of the Night. However, we may adjust the frame amount for it.

Mana Don't know if this was asked but did you draw Miriam that's set as your avatar pic? If so, damn that looks great! Not sure if anyone has suggested this but you should join the art team! ( i know i know it's been said by everyone) Okay this was really off topic. The only bugs i've found so far are ones that have been mention. Miriam's standing slide, and getting stuck at the edge of a platform. Also, are inti creates huge SOTN fans in particular? I'm loving all of the influence I'm seeing and I hope more of that shows through in the game especially with castle design. ( obviously it needs to be unique still just saying)

About the standing slide, I manage to reproduce it with ease.
How to do it: 1) Jump and attack diagonally while holding down 2) When back on the floor, standing, attack again, make sure you still holding down. 3) Quickly Slide. There is a high chance Miriam will do a standing slide.

On Windows, if you press the [Print Screen] key on the keyboard, Windows will copy the entire screen to the clipboard and you can paste it into any image creating/editing tool, including MS Paint. If you press [Alt]+[Print Screen], it will only copy the active window and anything overlapping it (such as an error message box). Whenever possible and applicable, providing a clear screenshot is preferred to help communicate bugs to the developers.

Actually since we're all playing in Steam at this point, Steam has a built in screen capture function. Just press F12. Then when you get back to the Steam dashboard go to the view menu and then to screenshots. There will be a button in the sub-menu that pops up that says "Go to file on disk" or something like that that will open up an explorer window to the folder containing the screenshots.

There's nothing wrong with phone recordings as long as it's clear what's going on. Most smart phones record in at least 1080p nowadays. And I wouldn't make that assumption on all games since DRM has been built into graphics cards for a while where software can create a "hole" in the output that can't be recorded or have a screenshot taken. PowerDVD does this with Blurays. Luckily that's not implemented into Unreal Engine 4 as far as I'm aware.

I'm not sure if Miriam's water magic is supposed to hit twice. If you're standing still on the ground when you cast it, it'll hit twice, however if used in the air, it won't.

 Not sure if mentioned before, there's a white line on the bottom and right side border of the title screen. Not a terribly big problem, but a problem nonetheless. Screen resolution is at 1920x1080. Edit: I guess it's not visible with the purple background. It's visible with something that contrasts. Edit 2:  I think this happened because I Alt+Tabbed out.

Good day to you all, I wanted to ask if anyone has experience what I have when installing the demo from Steam. See whenever I tried to play the game after successfully installing the game (no pop-up error appears when I was installing the game) I get an "Unknown Error" message and the game doesn't work. Does this mean that my computer doesn't meet the requirements or did something else happen?

You lilely have a 32 bit version of Windows. You need a 64 bit Windows installation. Bugs: - Walk and right thumbstick to aim: When walking and using the right thumbstick to aim your hand at things the sound of the footsteps does not always play. This is likely an issue with 'trigger weight threshold'. Additional Notify Properties section > docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Engine/Animation/Sequences/Notifies/- Pressing RB after an attack cancels animation: After pressing X on an xbox controller, waiting for the animation to finish, the character goes into the 'ready animation' (leg up while standing) During this animation, pressing the RB button results in the animation getting cancelled and it goes straight to the idle animation. (currently being uploaded)

Yup it's only 32-Bit, completely forgot that I'm not that into PC gaming hence I thought I didn't a 64-Bit OS. Oh well guess I'll just have to wait for the actual game to come out. Thanks for the reply fatihg

Inequal movements: Miriam turns right, but refuses to turns left.
Case 1: - Hold left to make Miriam move to the left. - Continue to hold left and now, press right. Miriam move to the right.
Case 2 (Just the opposite direction of Case 1): - Hold right to make Miriam move to the right. - Continue to hold right and now, press left. Miriam still move to the right.
These 2 cases can be reproduced 100% of the time.
(I don't use controller, I use keyboard instead)

OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit CPU: i7 4720HQ ( Quad-Core, 8 Threads) @ 2.60 GHz (with Turbo Boost up to 3.60 GHz) RAM: 12 GB GPU: nVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M (2GB RAM DDR3) DirectX: 11 HDD: +5GB Free (SSD Drive) Resolution: 1920x1080
Getting between 44~30 FPS in more "simple" areas, worse value was 24 FPS in more crouded area.
