Bayonetta's SSB4 amiibo will be officially released on July 21st. Pre-orders are currently available. In North America the Bayo2 default will be available in all stores, while the Bayo1 alternate will be exclusive to Best Buy. It is currently unknown if these will be compatible with the Wii U version of Bayo1 or Bayo2. And that is my Bayonetta News for the day~ |

I have the double pack that includes 1 & 2 on Wii U, I played and liked them both. Went ahead and pre-ordered the amiibo along with Cloud.

Some hints at a possible Bayo3 have been released by PlatinumGames on their official YouTube account. Under the pretense of teaching japanese gamers English, several scenes from Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2 have been uploaded to their YouTube. these scenes involve Bayonetta saying some of her more iconic quotes from both games, however these videos loop the scenes three times in a row before ending. Because each of theses videos loop three times, many believe that they are meant to be hints at a possible Bayonetta 3 being announced sometime in the future. With the upcoming release of Bayonettas SSB4 amiibo line, and the success of Bayo2 and Bayo1 on Wii U, I can definitely see a Switch version of Bayo3 in the future. However a Multiplatform version would be nice for those who missed out on Bayo2. |

So some interesting news regarding Bayonetta
Thanks to a friend I found out that Nintendo is going to be hosting a Doujin Market Event for Nintendo IPs. Whats interesting to note is that of all the Nintendo IP's shown here on the poster for said event, you can see a silhouette of Bayonetta in front of the crescent moon. So were getting an event hosted by Nintendo surrounding fan works of Nintendo IPs, while allowing Bayonetta themed entries. I'm curious to see what kind of comics Nintendo is allowing to be shown off here. |

Well, since that's nice and everything -don't get me wrong- we do know Platinum DOES want to keep Bayo a Nintendo Exclusive. It's not really so much a surprise but rather a confirmation of sorts.
Which again, it's nice.

I managed to get my hands on both Bayonetta amiibo, so I figured y'all might wanna see how they look.
I also managed to get my hands on the Bayo Movie recently, took a photo of it while posin' it with my appropriate amiibo~

I heard nintendo didn't want to reduce the price at all this holiday season... a friend of mine is not convinced and I would like to point him to a reduced price switch XD |

Well you have to remember the fact that Nintendo saved the franchise from cancellation when Sega, song, and Microsoft refused to fund the second games development. Without Nintendo there wouldn't have been a Bayo2, let alone a Bayo3. Not to mention one common complaint people have about Nintendo is that they don't have any decent exclusive 3rd party titles, yet soon as they do those same people complain about the games not being on other consoles. Im glad her franchise is still alive and well, and am glad I bought my switch earlier this year. |

Ixbran: I know, that's why I don't complain about it. If they financed and supported the franchise, saving it, they deserve it to be exclusive. It's just a shame to have the series in great form but incomplete forever on my platform of choice  I'll probably buy a Switch later anyway, so it's a matter of time. Just... what a shame for those who don't own it. But that's the double edged sword of exclusives. JeffCross: I plan to buy Switch much later though, let's say one year from now. A price drop is bound to happen, and if it doesn't well, I'll fetch one from privates like I did with PS4

nice poll Ixbran I own the games on Wii U and ps3, that was before I found out it was the worse version of the game  when I saw it on the Wii U it was like night and day... but it was enhanced for the Wii U so it makes sense... I hope it looks even more awesome on the Switch. |

OK, I've played both games on Switch and this is what I gotta say about them: - Bayo1 on Switch is very nice, it's fun to go back and play this game a third time. No matter how many times I play it, it's always a fun experience. They didnt really change or add anything too it, but it doesn't really need anything else. If I had to nitpick one thing it'd be that I wish they had removed the QTE's as them being in the game is said games biggest criticism.
- Bayo2 on Switch is absolutely amazing! I am loving the addition of the amiibo functionality, it helps to cement this series as a 2nd party nintendo franchise. I love the adorable messages you get when scanning in certain amiibo. Like Rodin commenting on wanting to join Bayonetta's 'fight club' the next time she goes, him commenting on Samus being a "bad ass with a big heart", or the fact that he knows "all about Hyrule's many Legends".
I am really happy with how these games perform on the Switch, and I can't wait to see how Bayo3 functions. And now, for your viewing pleasure, me using one of my favorite weapon set ups in Bayo2:

I got a Switch for my university graduation last week and the game I got with it was Bayo 2. Chewed through the game in one week, it was so awesome! Non-stop, 200% intensity for the whole campaign.
