Rejoice, fighting game fans! (and PC gamers in general)

According to this thread, it's still unknown which version they are going to port.

Me too. Never been a fan of BB, lol. Everything else, yes. Regarding the characters, Elphelt and Leo should be just selectable from the get-go because free DLC, you only have to unlock Sin with points. You get enough to do that with story mode, which is great btw. I guess they could just do the Sin unlock form the start, though...

Ciel, I think you would like Under Night. It's very stylish and feels a good bit like Melty. Ciel might not be in the game, but there are influences of her design and background here and there. What you might like most is Sion's story mode, she basically trash talks everybody because she's a veteran, totally breaking fourth wall stuff lol. I think she says something to the spiky haired katana guy like "Oh, you must be the main character".

Late[st] is only 1 new character, unfortunately. The "three" they're referring to are probably the new characters that were added to EXE Late, that being Nanase, Byakuya and Akatsuki. The -actual- new character is Phonon, a girl with a WHIP.

Sion is really good in this game, fun to use too. Gordeau is an ass and easy. Yuzuriha is really cool, but hard to play. Seth...suffers from being the only character with short range in a game of full screen normals, but once he gets going it's beyond sick.

In the latest game, he's not as much of a problem. I think that even in the original game, he was pretty good, but I'm not certain of that as we didn't get to play it. That version of the game was pretty silly overall.

It is the most up to date version, yes, which is great because previously the only legal way to own it was to purchase a related, limited edition season 3 blu-ray set of a show that would cost you upwards of $200-300. I did that because I liked the game so much and wanted to share it with my local area, don't regret it at all, but yeah...very much limited the exposure of the game. Melty has NEVER had a western release of any kind, which is somewhat odd, considering we've gotten comparatively more obscure things like Examu's fighting games, Dengeki Bunko (another French Bread game, plays sort of like Melty), heck even Under Night itself. There are a considerable amount of Type-Moon/Fate fans among the anime scene here in the US, so I think the game would have sold better than a lot of these things.

BUT, finally, it's coming to Steam. I hope the netplay is on par or -maybe- superior to the fan-made CCCaster a guy I know in Canada made for the game, which is how everyone plays it online as it is right now. If it's not up to that standard...then I imagine the best players will not even play the Steam version lol.

Anyway, regarding the back-catalog being released to PC, yeah that's quite true, but they're catching up now. On that note, don't buy GG: Isuka or BB Calamity Trigger. Just don't do that. Those games are not very good, lol. Arcana Heart: Love Max is pretty cool, I'm one of the best in the States in that game actually lol.

Lastly, happy HEAVY DAY! Get that Guilty Gear if you haven't already and your computer can play it. There is no better looking fighting game.

I bought Xrd on PC not long ago, and for whatever reason the framerate just tanks whenever I play online. It's fine on my PS3, and other games work fine online. I've got the settings set to processing quality. Does anybody else have this issue?
