What is your stance on nudity?

In general I don't care...I mean hell I usually see myself or others naked on a regular basis, so why should I let fictional nuts or breastseses bother me? At the same time, this is most likely going to be a T-rated game, so nudity would serve no purpose for this type of game.

In Dark/Gothic style nudity pairs well!

If it's in IGA's vision, I'm all in. And I think optional fanservice is fine and maybe even good; having different ways for people to experience the game how they'd like, be it innocently or with a bit of lewdness, is cool in my opinion.

I mean, at most, these games have nude statues or sort-of nude enemies (succubi, Frozen Half) that are generally covered or have their parts barely obscured in some way. There's no precedent to expect something along the lines of The Witcher. With increased graphical fidelity, more will be shown and obvious, but given that we're most likely sticking to what has appeared in IGA's previous games, that shouldn't be a problem.

There was some censorship even back in the Nintendo days of background statues. We probably won't have to worry about that now, given similar are in the other T-rated games. Some crazy activist group could come down on us over Miriam's boobs and the succubus forgetting her underwear, but it's kind of a fringe concern. The controversy of the topic in the context of Bloodstained isn't really there imo haha. But topics like these get replies!

After seeing this Go ham with the nudity. Otherwise he can say to hell with the western market and rightfully give the control freaks the shaft they deserve.

I'm not watching that video (that title seems like a bad omen) but basically the developers of Star Ocean 5 recently said they made some slight alterations to the outfit design of one of the characters (its not the character or the change you'd expect but you can google to find out what happened if you really care) because they were concern about criticism from the West. However, this wasn't a change to the Western version but also the Japanese version too which just came out. The awkward thing is that the change is SO SMALL and the nature of it something almost nobody would care about that this is only a "story" because the developers talked about it. It should also be clear those comments don't represent all Japanese gamers but rather a small subset from 2ch that got super made when they heard about the change.

To be slightly fair, I might be annoyed if I heard changes where made to a Western made game in the Western Market (the important part of this) specifically because of concerns about Japanese sensibilities. Like GTA is often edited for Japanese release and I imagine a lot of GTA fans would be upset if those edits applied to the Western version of the game too. However, the nature of the actual change for SO5 is so insignificant that nobody should be really upset.

I cannot emphasize how much any form of deviation from ones creative vision makes me want to hurl in the nearest trashcan. It won't stop me buying something. But it sure as hell will make me get "set on fire by lightning" levels of pissed off.

There is in my opinion onlynonenperson who can justify any of these changes that may or may not occur in Bloodstaineds specific arena. That's Iga. The minute he is dictated to "this doesn't work" I would pay an additional 60 USD on top of my already pledged amount to have a video of him slapping the shit out of those responsible.

As someone when is about the most amateur writer you can get. I have seen this multiple times where people make a noise about x not being "appealing to the masses and to chamge it." In which case I have told them no and walked away. Granted its not money for me its just a hobby. But I cannot imagine toiling away for years to have some cencus board or other person tell me how in have to observe things or create them. That is the worst thing you can do to alter a creative vision and suck any passion out of the creator.

Case in point. I have a YouTube channel and finally make recordings of games along with commentary and the occasional tutorial. When I was younger and didn't have the ability to create videos at all. I'd imagine in my head how badass something might be if suncednip just right or fit in well enough to the metal music I've listened to forever. Only to finally be capable of doing a good deal of the editing even with garbage software then finding out that in that time copyright laws and DRM have run so rampant that the only things I can actually use are specific things dictated to me via you tubes policy. When you imagine a scene or a scenario and the only thing going through your head is "A Touch of Evil" by Judas Priest and them you have to settle on some generic techno? Its not even remotely the same.

Granted different subjects than "nudity" I suppose but if the post is any inferrance, yeah I agree 100% with whatever Iga wants but if he indeed "goes ham"
