I don’t want him to come off as a bookish researcher type. He’s a character who values emotion over reason." I find that interesting because his concept art looks bookish to me.

Well, Iga thinks that it would be a little boring if he only uses the Lesser Key of Solomon for the monsters, so there will be characters from gothic horror too, thats great news.

I don't recall reading the interview before, but I'm glad I did.
This exchange in particular was interesting to me.
I used to think Bloodstained would feature Gebel being infatuated towards Miriam since he built the game's castle for her. Now that I know this is not the case, I'm feeling better about the game's lore/narrative. Not every story needs romance and having main characters that are just close friends feels more mature to me.

When your near the end of your days,you begin to think about things you have accomplished,and the things you leave behind,In Gebel's mind he might have thought leaving something behind for someone who shared his pain was something decent of him,or maybe as his mind became more deranged over time and his memories fragmented due to his curse he might think when he passes away miriam would become his successor and that she would carry on his will of revenge,it be nice of one of the endings for bloodstained would be miriam seeing the fragmented memories of Gebel seeing both the good and the bad

I probably forgot about those details since then (I totally forgot). There's a bunch of interviews floating around I still haven't read yet, and sometimes I'm not sure if what details people mention or talk about regarding Boodstained have been confirmed or if it's is just speculation. |
