My proposal is that the enemies we found on rooms will depend on time, like: morning, noon, afternoon, evening and dawn. As an alternative it could also depend on the weather as well: bright day, cloudy, raining, storm, snow. All this variables could define which monsters we will encounter on certain rooms, maybe even define a trigger for some event on that room.
Another use of weather could be the freezing of water on certain rooms during snowfalls or the melting of ice during bright days for some purpose like access of a new area or open secret rooms.
So, what do you guys think about making use of time and/or weather as a trigger for events in the game?

That's a really cool idea. I actually wish Bloodborne did something similar (after a certain point in the game it would just be Blood Moon permanently). Having weather/times of day in Bloodstained might be pretty cool

well at the very lest it could make the world feel more alive... certain things will go out in the rain or damp weather and... the only problem I have with this is rare monsters for item drops. It could make something that is hard to get even harder to get cause it will only come out in the night, when it's raining, on a full moon but only on Saturdays between the times o- I could go on but I'll stop there.
Again I do think it is a brilliant idea... if they can find a balance

I like the idea, I would like to see the exteriors changing with the seasons as well as the monsters

I like the idea, I would like to see the exteriors changing with the seasons as well as the monsters I remember Castlevania Chronicles had that feature to some extent.

That's a really neat idea. Perhaps a combination of location and weather conditions, for example if you're in a graveyard/castle interior/forest when it's raining versus when it's sunny; or night and day.

I do worry that this could make farming items more of a chore than in past games but it would depend on how it is implemented.

I do worry that this could make farming items more of a chore than in past games but it would depend on how it is implemented. That's what I thought too but if you separate monsters into light, dark, damp, dry.... then: light: monsters that are found in lit areas (ie the day, lit rooms, bright caverns [lit by crystals]) dark: monsters that like the dark (ie night, dark caves, dark ruins) damp: monsters attracted to moist areas (ie caves, near waterfalls, near water (can also be fountains) dry: Monsters that thrive in arid places (ie the desert, dusty ruins, inside volcanoes) or something like that... so whether or not it is night or day, raining or dry... you can find them somewhere in the castle. I just hope the weather is in real time instead of random like it was in SotN... I'd also want to see some thing like flowers blooming in the day and some flowers closing at night. or even foliage following the sun as it goes over... also things like bugs, mice, little animals scuttering about... different ones in the day, night and rain... or if they act different in different weather... like taking shelter or sleeping or stuff like that... I think I ran out of ideas.

I do worry that this could make farming items more of a chore than in past games but it would depend on how it is implemented. Maybe, but the ones who becomes rare to find can just have not-so-useful drops or useful but that only requires 1 time drop to do whatever is needed with the item. Yet people who wish to get everything on the game are supposed to have a hard time anyway, it should not be easy by any means, but i am not thinking on weeks of playing to find a single item, it should just be implemented wisely and balanced rarity. I think Iga and the team will do it properly if they implement this.
