Well one of my wanted features was already confirmed (IGA KS boss), but as some others have said I would really like compendiums for everything so that I can try to collect it all and know if I'm missing something. Give it the traditional ------- for the missing spots and do that for all of the following with item descriptions:
Bestiary Weapons Armor Accessories Items Spells/skills/familiars
I'd also like an inventory auto sort feature.

Man, I agree with almost everything you guys have said I'll just add: A robust movement system. I want slide kick, dodge roll, jump kick, double jump, gravity boots(or something) etc. I think the thing that annoys me the most from the old games is the slide movement has a huge delay at the end. I feel like you should be able to jump out of it and do a jump kick or something, which will lead straight to another slide kick, and so on.

I would also like to see additional levels done through Stained Glass windows, like the Paintings in Portrait of Ruin. That way, everything stays in the castle, but you have an option to create any type of level you desire.

I want to see weather effects outside when you look throught windows, and a lot of optional (useless) content, like tree branches bouncing outside, maybe hiting some windows, wind blowing randomly opening windows. Funny stuff like if weather effect is snow, and you are at a certain spot on the castle, you can see a Yeti walking outside... xD
Random stuff happening, i love it, gives life to the game. I want to enjoy just being able to admire the game background, hoping for beautiful designs. And if possible i would love to see more interaction with the background (not obvious), just for fun, like push a lever to something funny happen and that stuff, hoping for a ton of hidden actions hard to find.
Finally i would like to walk outside of the castle, but not far, i mean some place directly connected to the castle, leading to nearby structures that are part of the castle itself but not joint to it. Like you exit the castle, take a walk into a road with fences on each side (where lies a dense forest), at the end of the road you get to a gate that leads to a structure nearby, like a cemetery, small chapel, old ruins, greenhouse glass structure, etc.

nekurorshah, your "wants" pretty much mirror mine :-) I hope the team makes this happen. Hopefully these will be present in the beta, otherwise i hope they'll listen to our feedback for wanting such details.

Atmosphere plays a huge role in most gaming experiences, the less immersed you are the less likely you are to care about what you're playing. Dynamic weather, shading, physical changes, they all sound super neat.

Sort of like in Order of Ecclesia, saving villagers by looking for them, and then unlocking new village features by doing so.

i would have a big list but all the added goals put everything in the game i wanted except one last thing, If we get a 2nd game in the future let us pick one weapon to carry over to that game and make it a +1 weapon so say if we get 5 bloodstained games i could have a +5 weapon going forward.

I'm really hoping for a vast array of different weapon types. Swords, Knives, Axes, Hammers, Staves, Polearms, whips, bludgeoning weapons, bows, crossbows, firearms (musket, flintlock, blunderbuss), and maybe even wands/rods. Love that what about knuckles, greaves, thowing weapons (ninja stars, boomerangs, chakram.. etc) if you like weapons check out my post about Bloodstained weapons

These are my hope for the game 1. equippable items for both hands 2. better uses for familiars (like using them to get to another area) 3. Costume changes for all three playable characters 4. transform into different forms 5. different summon animation for familiars 6. a LOT of DIFFERENT weapons 7. IGA AS A HIDDEN CHARACTER I got number 7 before it came out (but I really wanted him to be a playable character too) I am doing this to add more to my list. 8. a seamless castle (meaning, little to no loading between areas. this does not include portals or save points) 9. Shields please!!! (I want diffrent types some that are geared toward attack rather than defense) 10. strange weapons that have full attack function (UN-like curse of darkness) 11. different stances for different weapons and weapon combinations (like using a sword and knife as in the Parrying dagger technique) 12. npcs that you could interact with (this is not restricted to humans, but what about demons that just want to go back to the demon world) they could be the shops, blacksmith, etc... 13. monster compendium (that shows the monster in full 3d) 14. deep smiting mechanics I know I want a lot but I know Iga will do his best to bring out a game that overflows with awesome

I would like to see more than 2 players and additional playable characters (3 right now) I'm a big Harmony of Despair fan. Don't care about online so much as I do local multiplayer.
Konami code should do something bad to you haha.

It would be cool to have an alchemy system that would allow you to create potions that enhance or alter the player.. There could be recipes hidden in the castle or dropped from enemies and the components could be gathered or purchased.
It would fit nicely into the story and be a perfect way to add player directed customization to the gameplay. You want to be tsnkier? Make stamina and defense portions. You want to be a ninja? Make stealth and crit potions etc.

To help build the atmosphere of the game, I would love to see a set of diary entries scattered throughout the castle. These would explain the background of the Alchemists and their goal, the origins of the curse and the leadup to Gebel's massacre. A lot of games have these old notes scattered in certain areas to build atmosphere, a good example being Cinnabar Mansion in the original Pokemon games. I think it would really help here, and really, it fits the tone perfectly. That's very nice. Maybe something like visions from the past or dreams (like Succubus from SotN)?

The same mechanic is used in all of the Gears Of War games. There are items hidden all over the place that give you bits and pieces of the back and side stories of the game.

It'd be fun to do player-controlled Boss vs player-controlled Boss. Mix up Boss Revenge Mode with the Online Challenge Mode and put your demonic powers to the test!
