What do you think about FOVE? Seems interesting. It's an evolution from Oculus Rift which was very successful. I'd buy some if I could to test that juicy development kit and programm some tests =) What do you think about it? =) |

It looks like it has a lot of potential, too bad I don't have the cash to drop on it lol. I really like the idea of eye tracking, I can just imagine a FPS using this hardware.

I would love to back this, but Bloodstained has drained me pretty good... Also I wish there were some more intermediate tiers. The fact that it jumps from $25 to $349 REALLY bothers me...
I mean it's like REALLY you couldn't thing of ANY OTHER IDEAS to give folks middle ground to donate??
Heck why not at least bridge the gap and do a $175/$200 tier that gives you a 25% or %50 off voucher for the commercial release of the head set?

Yeah not having more tiers is a problem.I often pledge for projects I think the idea is very innovative, like this one, I'm a backer but at the lowest level, just for help a little =) I've pledged for some projects at IndieGoGo as well c=
I think this idea is really great!
I saw another project similar to this one, but instead of a HD display, you use your smartphone XD I think that's not the best idea XD

So they just announced that Samsung Ventures is backing their integration of Valve's Lighthouse position tracking system. I don't know about the rest of ya'll, but that makes me very excited! That'll mean that FOVE will REALLY be one of the first FULL VR headset packages out there.
