Dynasty Warriors? Then play Sengoku Basara, its much better.

Goobsausage , at first I disliked Kingdom Hearts too, then tried KH2 and it was even worse because of these flashbacks from and non-sense. But then years later I gave the first game another chance and really liked it. You should try to play until the second boss if you didn't.

I agree with Arcueid Brunestud , in KH2 you really fell powerful near the end and its combat system is good. But I still prefer KH1 setting and story, KH2 feels too different some times to me. While KH 1.5 (Chains of Memories for GBA and PS2) is different too, it felt more close to the original IMO. They had more of the "Disney" fell while KH2 lacks a bit of it sometimes, even if using characters and places from it. The only problem is that KH 1.5 is almost like the inverted castle from SOTN, where you will visit the same places and battle the same bosses from the first game 75% of the time, but with different level designs and different ways to battle bosses. Even so its not totally the same game, since the story isn't the same, they have new bosses and even a excuse of why you are revisiting these areas like that.


About calling it a button masher. KH 1.5 totally isn't a button masher, since you really need to give thought before doing your next attack because of the card system. KH 1 and 2 can turn into a button masher against weak enemies,  but not against all. If you don't take care you will surely die. Button masher are games like God of War, Dante's Inferno, Dynasty Warriors and Sengoku Basara where you can kill a zillion of enemies without caring for safety for almost all parts.

Yeah, we've all had that. For me it was with FFVII.

Everyone complains about how Frozen or Minion stuff is everywhere they go, but thats only been a year or so. For me it was nothing but FFVII through out Jr.High and High School. Its all anyone ever talked about around me, its all I ever herd about. If you went to my schools growing up, and were a gamer, they expected you to have played FFVII. And if you hadn't, well you were a social outcast to both the popular kids, AND the nerds and geeks. I got so sick and tired hearing about the game I just refused to play the game for years. I recently tried playing FFVII, buying it to play it on PSN, and I just did not get the appeal of it at all.

I got to the point the flower girl joined my party and its like "I know your going to die, so you literally have no use to me" I didn't bother leveling her up, making her strong or effective. so when she did i was like "Wow, you know, if I hadn't known about this scene 6 years ago, this might have actually effected me. What ever, bye bitch." At that point I just stopped trying. The fan base for FFVII just ruined it for me, and even when trying to play it, to see what made it so great, I found absolutely nothing.

I know what its like not caring for something that everyone else seems to obsess over, and don't fault ya for it. Who knows, maybe KHII will help get you into the series, and if not that's perfectly alright.

I like all the Final Fantasy games except for 2, and 3. I never played the MMO Final Fantasy games.

I have loved the KH series since it came out and have played all the gqmes released several times. Xombie and I had to take the 3rd game into high consideration when thinking about which next gen console to eventually get.
I grew up with siblings who worked at Disney world so Disney is a big part of my family's lives. I also loved Final Fantasy and thought it was so neat for character crossovers

I would like to see that and a Gilgamesh or Exdeath fight too. Preferably with a 3D rendition of

Why take on angels or witches, when you can fight the Mother fukkin' God of Magic?

Oh I knew that. He did a fine job there, but he makes for a horrible character designer and an even worse director.
