This is a brand-new game as far as I can tell, not a remake. AWESOME news!!! Unbelievable this is happening. One of those iconic franchises that really deserves more entries, 2D and 3D (expanding off Maximo but starring Arthur). Very happy about this. I wonder who's behind the project at Capcom?
I hope it's set up like the old games in its normal mode. The PSP entry felt off to me with its new format. Didn't feel balanced. I actually liked the original iPhone entries better...except they were on iPhone. Wish those Gold Knights games would get ported.
Always felt this franchise was a cousin of Castlevania...now Konami, will you respond?
...And Arthur should be in Smash!
EDIT: Watching more of the trailer (I was originally trying to avoid spoilers...I notice some one-to-one areas from past games. Looks like this is at least a partial remake that mixes together various entries...particularly the first two entries.
