It seems the old difficulty options wasn't enough. Enjoy full Ninja Gaiden, lol. Update comes tomorrow it seems.

I'm having trouble as it is beating boss rush on Veteran, so I don't know if I'll make it far in this, but I really respect the idea and support Veteran Boss Rush at least on normal difficulty isn't that bad. As long as you're strategic with your sub-weapon usage and you keep the boss attack patterns in mind it's very doable. If there's a particular spot giving you trouble I may be able to help.
Played Legend Mode on episode 1 up to stage 7 and it's very similar to the NES CVs in terms of difficulty. Haven't tried the single character mode on this difficulty but that may even surpass the NES games lol.
