Since we got the timeline for the rest of the year and more features have been delivered, I've started to wonder what the chances are of getting a complete physical version of Bloodstained down the line that has all the modes and patches/updates baked in. (Minus Curse of the Moon, since that's Inti-Creates.) Given the sheer amount of work done on the Switch version compared to the Backer version cart in particular, I wonder if there will be a "complete" edition down the line.

My understanding was that there was going to be a complete edition at some point for consoles but that was when Angel was still around so not sure if that still holds water.
At the very least I would expect them to do a release through LRG if nothing else.

Would be really neat if we could get a new cover for the complete edition by Mana Ikeda. Or alternatively 505/AP could do a fan art contest for the cover to promote the game and give us fans tons more high quality Bloodstained artwork

I'm almost certain we'll see a next-gen complete edition at some point with in the next few years. Not necessarily a remaster, but more like how GTA5 launched on last gen, but they still released a more definitive edition on PS4/XB1. I can easily see BS doing the same thing since it sold a million copies at least.

Of course there won't. The stretch-goals aren't all implemented as of yet, with some of them getting suddenly changed on the way (ex randomizer instead of roguelike), even. We don't know whether or not all of the rest are pheasible at all; maybe more will be deemed "impossible", exactly like roguelike. And there is the upcoming paid for vanity items thing, too. No physical edition is ever going to be the "complete" thing and no mistake! Besides, it's not even possible right now, to have the entire, complete collection, in one DIGITAL place at that!!! We who backed at 60E tier and opted for DRM Free, got stuck with the minigame in Steam -damn you Inti Creates-, main game in GOG, soundtrack as a separate donload in neither Steam or GOG, the half-as_ed manual and art guide as standalone download files!
Chaos and mess, the very definition and manifestation of either and both, is the project's outline, at least so far. Here, there, over the top and all over the place. Thankfully, base game is pretty good and hooks you up nicely. Wait and see, but let's just be honest here. One complete package would equal to miracle. And sorry but hey, i don't believe in those anymore.
