Hi, everyone. Update 1.0.0.6 is live on Xbox! This update brings the Xbox up to date with the other platforms,That’s not true. Most of the stuff in this Xbox patch is missing from the PS4 version whose own patch has been promised since August. Unless this was patched very recently, the PS4 is severely lagging behind the pc and Switch since the summer and now it’s behind Xbox too. Dont want to sound ungrateful, I’m genuinely happy you guys have finally pushed the performance patch on Switch and this one on Xbox but please don’t forget about us on PS4. Ever since your August Kickstarter update I’ve been waiting for it.

Ever since your August Kickstarter update I’ve been waiting for it. I'm almost certain you're correct, as I believe the last response I got to "why is there no time estimate for the PS4 patch?" was something to the effect of "because there's currently nothing to report." It doesn't bug me much as I've maxxed out everything and I'm probably not going to touch the game much until future DLC, when and if that comes.

PS4 is severely lagging behind the pc and Switch since the summer and now it’s behind Xbox too. You're still ahead of Xbox, we still can't buy the iga pack for some reason We might be ahead with the IGA Pack, but it is bugged (it adds an always online DRM to the game that makes it impossible to play the game without being always online) and the last patch that SHOULD have come in August was supposed to give us all the balance Updates (that XBOX now have) as well as getting rid of the unintentional always online DRM with the IGA DLC. However, the patch never arrived, yet for some reason on the forums and Kickstarter they always treat this issue as if the Patch is already out, and when we asked in the last few updates why there is no PS4 information avaiable we always get a "Nothing to report for the PS4 yet" which is annoying. A simple "It has been delayed in order to fix the Switch version first" or "We have issues with this and that and have to delay the patch for an unspecific time" would have been enough, but we didn't even got THAT! Since August PS4 owners are treated like they don't exist!

You're still ahead of Xbox, we still can't buy the iga pack for some reason Sure, we have that going for us but I wouldn’t call it “being ahead”. I just want acknowledgment that they’re working on this patch for PS4. Now that the big performance update for Switch and the Xbox got patched I don’t see how getting the PS4 version up to speed wouldn’t be the priority.

At the Xbox front we're usually the last one to be updated, in some cases months after everyone else like how we still can't buy the iga pack So basically we got the nerfs, the thing many were against meanwhile the only thing i cared about this update was left out i get wanting to be able to play offline but aside from that and nerfs what else are you behind on at this point? Maybe PS4 was last this time but even that's questionable because our update was also incomplete much like how you mentioned yours was You mention being treated like you don't exist but most of the time Xbox is dead last while PS4 is usually one of the first to receive updates and patches

I donated money to this project because I have faith in Iga and company to do the right decisions designing this game and while it hasn’t been perfect I still trust that these post launch changes were done to balance (that’s a key word here) the experience. And if reducing the attack power of some elements is what it takes then so be it. Im sure this game is a better product post balance than it was before because it’ll incentivize the use of more diverse shards and some enemies that were cakewalks will now be more challenging and whatnot. If CV Symphony of the Night has been able to get post release itches I sure as hell would’ve welcomed some balance updates with, yes, some nerfs because that game, as good as it was, was anything if not unbalanced to hell and back.

Well one of the big selling points iga made was listening to criticism so i don't know why you are upset people voice their opinion on the matter There are so many fixes and content people are waiting on it seems very odd they decided to put any time into post release game balance, especially before the other stuff Also if anyone feels options are overpowered to the point it makes the game less fun it only takes a little bit of will power to use something else To me that seems much more reasonable than the dev team putting aside time to do a "balance patch" So if you're upset you haven't gotten nerfs yet that's your right but it's laughable to me you think people don't have a right to hate on the nerfs or want anything/everything else first

... Also if anyone feels options are overpowered to the point it makes the game less fun it only takes a little bit of will power to use something else To me that seems much more reasonable than the dev team putting aside time to do a "balance patch" So if you're upset you haven't gotten nerfs yet that's your right but it's laughable to me you think people don't have a right to hate on the nerfs or want anything/everything else first About the Balance Patch: I agree on one part: The Devs have much more serious problems to take care of with the game than it's balance. I think myself they should rather fix issues and bugs first! HOWEVER Balance is needed to keep a game fun! If something is overpowered to the point that it makes anything in the game trivial, than that needs to be changed since it is most likely not intended. So I am all in for Balance Patches, BUT I would have prefered if they would have come AFTER they fixed everything else. Sure, those are only options, as you say, and every player can for themselves decide if they want to use a OP Weapon or not, HOWEVER That doesn't that the game has a RIGHT to be so unbalanced! Let us take Symphony of the Night as an example. The Crissaegrim is a powerful weapon! It not only hits 4 times in quick succession by just pressing attack once, but you can WALK while attacking, which is not possible with any other weapon, AND if you are lucky enough to get a second Crissaegrim, you can equip that to your off hand and use two at the same, dealing insane damage! Yes, it is an OPTION, but why is something like this even an option in the first place? Yes, the attack Power is crap, but the speed and mobility makes it all up! They could have easily balance it by making it reduce your Defense to zero and/or making it two handed. It is not witchcraft, since they did this to most of the Katanas in the game you can get, that have high power, but are two handed and reduce your defense at the same time! And they are not even NEARLY as good as the Crissaegrim! BUT as OP as the Crissaegrim is, the combination of Shield Rod and Alucard Shield destroys the entire Game! You just Steamroll through EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING! LITERALLY! You are an invincible God, it is a build in God Mode cheat that you can legitimately unlock! This turns the game from one of the greatest Games of all time into a walking Simulator! Yes, OPTIONS, but still unbalanced as all hell! So yeah, I do think even in Singleplayer Games balance Updates are NEEDED on some things to keep the game fun. In Bloostained it might be even more important since this will at one point have Multiplayer, and for that everything should be well balanced out! And to your last Point: Aztec never said that people have no right to complain and hate the nerfs, He was also not forcing his opinion onto anyone, he just stated why he thinks the Balance Update is a good thing in his eyes, and not why everyone should shut up and take it!

His very first sentence is ~Im tired of this “nerf controversy” bull crap. Subjective, Symphony is widely loved despite options like Shield Rod and Crissagram Many people even think those options made the game even more fun Willpower is a thing for people who don't want to be overpowered gods Like i said you are entitled to your opinion but remember not everyone needs everything to be balanced to have fun Personally i'd take the iga pack over "balance" changes to weapons and shards any day

One thing I've noticed from other games, indie games and the like, is that DLC is always a problem on XBOX. The Bastion DLC was unable to be free initially, Skullgirls DLC would always take forever to get approved, patches for most games would take an eternity, and now these problems. I'm really curious as to what is going on with Microsoft.
