Where is Iga's backpack for the XB1? I know that is no big deal but if it was offered to the backers and sold to none backers on other systems you developers do not have your priority straight.

It perplexed me how something could’ve been promised for launch day then be delayed to August, then September, and now in November we’re down to TBA. Now with the bulk of the Switch fixes supposedly being out I hope they can pick up the pace with the rest of the platforms.

They should had kept the WII U version instead and had the Switch version come at a later date. I would had bought the WII U version since the controller to me is alot better. Just imagine being able to see the map without pausing the game or the options to select perks. I guess someone forgot to take their head out of their rearend.

jlgo All you're going to get from that now is Aztec telling you how ridiculous the thought is that Bloodstained could run on the Wii U, so let me pre-empt that and say that yeah, that wouldn't work with the game we have, and the Xbox update unfortunately kept running into bug squashing problems one after another. How it was described to me/us by 505 was the classic, cliche and almost cartoon-like nature of how one bug being fixed beget another. Not sure why Xbox specifically was like that.

The WII U version was going to happened until the Switch showed up, lol. I think that this game was going to be also good on the Wii u besides 10% less graphics and a couple of things here and there and I would doubt it would have been as bad as the switch. I never had a problem after the update in my XB1 or a glitch other than then 8bit stage going to 1bit atari graphics that reminds me of the E.T. game that atari usednto sell. But anyways the backers that paid for the XB1 version like me are getting the bad end of the stick while non backers and backers of other systems got almost 100% of the game.. I can not wait until Konami brings more collections.

It’s almost as if purifyweirdshard was a prophet. And yes he’s 100% right I’m totally going to call big f**king bullshit on your hilarious statement. Even if we could pretend, for one absolutely bonkers moment of our existentes, that the game we got could’ve run on the much weaker and not-even-Unreal4-supporting WiiU that still doesn’t address the eleph—nono, the blue whale in the room. And that whale is talking about how releasing a game for WiiU in the year of our Lord 2019 makes perfect sense. And all of that while explaining why it’s a sound idea to ignore the newer, more relevant, actually-Unreal4-supporting, and waaay more successful current Nintendo console that, you know, can still find new in stores. So no jlgo Iga and company actually did get their heads out of their asses and I know that because they cancelled the WiiU version in favor of a Switch one. Also the Vita version but that’s besides the point. PS: I only give Bloodstained somewhat of a hard time here because I love it so much and I know they can and should do better where they faltered.

[he] The WII U version was on the works before even the Switch was even named the Switch. The scrapped they WII U version and started working on the switch's version. I have the game in my XB1 and played the game for many hours after it arrived. The graphics in it aren't that great, If you think the graphics that are in it are the best for what engine are they using I am laughing. Lol. There is nothing graphics wise out of the ordinary that would made me think that this game would not run on the WII U. Lol. Please explain to me where do this current Graphics shine. If you can not explain I will understand.

Bloodstained needed to come out in 2019 rather than 2017 irrespective of the Wii U vs Switch situation. A Wii U version in mid 2019 would not be possible, and yet somehow if it was, an objectively bad idea for its own sake and the sake of every other version.
Nevermind specifically explaining about graphics. The engine the game uses doesn't run on Wii U. It struggles obviously as it is to do well on the Switch hardware. "2017 Bloodstained" was slated to be a graphically less intensive game and could have possibly run on the Wii U after Armature (or someone else) developed a plug-in to make running the engine on that hardware possible, but what we ended up getting after the game was pushed a couple of years, no.

I would think they would have used a different engine for it. Oh you’re still arguing that a WiiU port of this game should’ve come out in 2019 even now? Look, Bloodstained was still a relatively low budget game. They did not have unlimited time or resources. What you’re suggesting was not only too costly but also unbelievably stupid because you’re talking about porting the game to an entirely different engine just to make it run (downgraded to hell and back I’m sure) on a console that’s been dead for over two years! Do you hear yourself at all? Games are a business and dropping the WiiU version was a business decision. And a very smart one at that even if it meant letting down all 37 backers who in 2019 were still WiiU exclusive gamers. I’d seriously would like to meet this fabled gamer who’s hardcore enough to Kickstart the spiritual successor to a niche series four years in advance of its launch but their only platform for modern gaming is a console that was replaced since 2017 and two years later hasn’t upgraded to a Switch, PS4, XB1 or a gaming PC. I’m sure they’re out there but they must be so few that sticking to that version didn’t make any financial sense and Iga knew that.

Is out live as of today. It is funny because I have not yet received my backer code for it. Lol, hopefully I do not have to wait another month or 2 for it. Lol, what a joke.

Keep checking. I didn't get mine right away, but it showed up on a week-end... for PS4, that is.
