Shanoa mode: Name a game file as Shanoa to play as an altered Miriam whose weapons all seem to appear from her arms and legs. With a special stance of lifting her hair and exposing her back to show off her Crystals.

Serious: OneShot - similar to Devil May Cry 4's heaven or hell mode. Everything, including yourself, dies in one hit.
BloodStains - bleeding effect from attacks dealt and received are greatly increased.
Funny:
Gezebel: changes Gebel's character into a female.
MiniMe: Miriam is shrunk to toddler size. Her weapon size and jump height are unaffected.

Outtakes: Pressing a certain button combination, like Down and Attack, triggers an outtake where one of the actors flubs their lines, or just says something funny. 486 Mode: Changes the graphics and sound to feel like a game that ran on a computer with an Intel 486 processor.

My 2 Silly Cheat Code suggestions for now. :3 OBJECTION! ~ Demon Attorney Mode: When encountering a Boss, the words "DIE, MONSTER!" show up in large red font, yelled by Miriam (or Ben Judd's disembodied voice. :3). ^ A podium appears out of thin air for Miriam to slam her hands on, and then point the finger of accusation at her enemy. Miriam's dialogue before all Boss-Battles with this Cheat activated consist of accusing each Boss of certain crimes, and the Boss's reaction may vary (ranging from comical sweat-dropping and hesitation, to claiming that Miriam doesn't have any proof). A Cappella Mode: Smooth McGroove performs a cappella covers for all of the music in the game!

I dunno if this is the right thread or it these would be considered cheat codes but I loved the Magician, Fighter, Shooter and Thief Modes in Circle of the Moon. These significantly changed your base stats and stat growth through the game and this gave you a really unique play experience each time. For those unaware, in Circle of the Moon, after you beat the game for the first time:
Magician - Type in FIREBALL as your name. Attack, Defense and HP all start lower and grow more slowly but you start with all the DSS Cards and with higher Intelligence & MP that grow much faster than normal
Fighter - Type in GRADIUS as your name. Attack, Defense and HP all start higher and grow more quickly but you can't use any magic and you start with lower Intelligence & MP that grows much slower than normal
Shooter - Type in CROSSBOW as your name. Attack, Defense and HP all start lower and grow more slowly but you start with more heats, your heart rate grows more quickly than normal, sub-weapons use fewer hearts and do more damage.
Thief - Type in DAGGER as your name. All stats start lower and grow more slowly than normal but you luck starts MUCH higher and grows much more quickly than normal
Now all of these modes aren't directly comparable to what we an expect in Bloodstained (see Shooter mode) but I would love it if these same general ideas could be applied - alternate stat spreads and combat styles that really influence your playthrough of the game. In Circle of the Moon you had to do these modes in order, hopefully if something like this is in Bloodstained, you can do them in any order you please.

What about Miriam finding an old Ouija board? Think of the possibilities...
1) She may contact helpful spirits that provide clues on where to find rewards.
2) Such spirits could assist her to fight enemies.
3) Inadvertently, she may summon a variety of unfriendly ghosts that'll curse, haunt or lead her to bad luck.
4) Some evil apparitions may even attempt to kill or possess her.
5) Certain spirits only appear at the stroke of midnight, full moon or eclipse. These spirits may appear as bosses she's already killed?

I like this one but I'd like to propose a slight change:
Poor censorship mode: Words which are normal in normal mode but would look worse in censored mode are changed. EG "You are such a annoyance!" changed to "You are such a *********!" It's still annoyance censored underneath it, but it changes the POTENTIAL context.

if anyone hasn't said it yet maybe a inverse mode where the entire game is upside down except for boss rooms because that would be silly

DMC Mode: Maximum difficulty, but the recovery on moves are shortened, allowing for massive combos.

I could have sworn I said this but don't see it.
But I want cheat codes that allow the player to have a 'dev-mode' of sorts for the camera.. 2.5d games should generally play like a 2d game, but it would be neat to be able to have full control of the camera as a cheat code so you could better check out the environments. Though I suppose they may not do this if the environments have only 5 walls instead of 6 (in a Cube room of course). I can't imagine it would be hard to simply mirror the far wall for the missing wall if this is the case though.
edit: I said 'square' instead of 'cube'. doh.

Maximus posted a in the shoutbox just now and just seeing it again gave me an amazing idea. What if as a cheat, all the enemies would be replaced with Goofballs? It would be a very amusing callback to April Fool's Day on the forum for those that immediately "get it", and for those that don't, it would be pretty funny regardless to experience.
They could all be doing various things, hiding in various places, have varying amounts of HP (perhaps the same as what was their counterpart in-game before), etc. Goofball Day in Bloodstained. Man, lol
This could also just be a random Roguelike option or possibility, maybe a cheat of that instead. haha

Is this thread a request? You could tweet IGA about it if you want. Like "Request: Cheat code to unlock all items after first real playthrough would be nice". If this thread is brainstorming for us to think about cheat codes in general, then I would suggest a code that makes you use infinite shards and infinite health, so you can fool around. And about: "If you can put it in, that would be nice and this thread be the only hint." - Cheatcodes spread, people will visit boring "cheat" sites that usually only have achievement-info and no cheats and actually find cheat for once

Personally, I can't stand cheats. Reverting to cheats to beat a game reflects the weakness of the player.
