Hi!
So, I've been noticing recently other, smaller developers having issues getting Sony to *put their shit up for sale* for red-tapey reasons.
There has recently been a kind of dark horse that appeared out of thin air called *Remnant: From the Ashes*. Now, this game was suddenly yoinked form pre-order due to some bizarre requirement Sony placed on it.
The problem? The certification process. How much of this thing do you think is truly functional and how much of it is bureaucratic red tape? It seems that it's getting harder and harder to make a game for a console for indie and smaller company developers.
Or maybe I'm off my rocker? Anyone else seen the same kinda thing going on with games they're excited about and bizarre delays?

Agreed. It's way too much on the general side of things to belong in Bloodstained Discussion. Mr. Welldone I can say as someone working in tech that a certification process would indeed be legit, no question about it. It would surely be a cut-and-dry process as within its QA trenches, so to speak.
