Hey everyone. I’m sure we can all agree that Bloodstained (for the most part) is a fabulous game. While the publisher has created community controversy with recent updates talking about cosmetic DLC or nerfing game mechanics before fully fixing the Switch among other things. Those are promises in the works still, so glossing over those, this is an age where a game can be made fundamentally different through updates as opposed to being left with on disc content, or in other words: things change.
Personally, I would only like the nerfing and buffing to occur in new/harder difficulties instead of affecting the game as it is now. Maybe apply them to future multiplayer modes.

Poll needs an "other" option. As some people have pointed out elsewhere, harder difficulties only make the most effective tools and tactics that much more necessary. So, just adding a higher difficulty would satisfy the cry for a harder game, but would also make the perceived "problems" with the nerfed items worse. Ideally, you would need to buff some of the weaker options, as well as making harder difficulties. Thus people wanting a harder game would have it, without taking anything away from people who like using those options, and people who feel there's a lack of incentive to use anything else could be encouraged to experiment more.

i think the game is fine as is with a caveat, if an item is too powerful/not powerful enough because of a coding or math error, then fix it cause thats a bug. if a weapon is too powerful/not powerful enough because its supposed to sit in a particular place on the shelf of power tiers and PLAYERS think its op/weaksauce, that is intentional and shouldnt need to be messed with
i will say though to the devs that some of the awesome movement tech ive seen in speedruns coupled with the different ways you can customize miriam for luck, or attack speed, or movement speed is a beautiful way to bring longevity to the community and allows for some off the wall speedrun/challenge categories like initial equipment or paper flash runs (no equipment, all speed boosts by the end of the game type thing)
