What happened to the Morpho Reference of ribbon equipment?

So for the ribbon equipment, it was originally named as "Morpho Ribbon" which is a direct reference of character Morpho/Lumen from Azure Striker Gunvolt games, but the reference was probably cut during the development process. I'm interested in what factor caused the name change. Was it changed after the point when Inti Create was no longer involved in the development of Ritual of the Night?





EDIT: This equipment is one of the selected few with reference of past Inti Creates games that managed to survive in released product in some form. There were something that happened to be not that lucky, like the Voltic Chain skill.
