Assuming DLC(free or paid) could bring in new monsters, would you like to see other enemies that are similar to Tamako-Death? Like a drummer, vocalist, or bassist. If so, what might their shards be?

The same as Tamako but with different elements you should be allowed to craft them all together into one shard to perform a rock concert.

As far as shards go...
I think a drummer might set off several shockwaves along the ground, similar to Gale Crawler but in both directions. As it ranks up, it goes for longer, and releases more. With higher grade, they get bigger and do more damage. Actually, make it lightning based, and have the shockwaves be crackling with electricity. There's some allusions to Japanese mythology that can be drawn that way. Make the drummer an allusion to the thunder spirit Raijin, and call the shard "Raging Tempo" (its subtle, but this is a play on "Raijn" and "temper").
For the bassist, we've got to go with an ice theme. That way the members with instruments represent all the basic elements. The first two are an overhead arc and straight shots along the ground, so have this one fling out ice shards in random directions, maybe with icy explosions.
For the vocalist, I'd avoid elements altogether, and instead have them be status based. Slow doesn't get enough use in the game, so probably an AoE slowing field. Either make it short-range, or have it be in pulses with a short duration and high chance of being resisted, so it doesn't make Lethargy completely useless.
I'd have them combine into either a conjure shard that does an all-elements screen nuke, or some kind of familiar that takes the form of a gold record or something like that, and summons the band members to attack, with the aforementioned full-band attack being a rare super attack.

Hmm, that all sounds nice, but may I add some things of my own, please? I noticed that you do not have other things that could be added to this hypothetical band, as well as truly well defined names for the other band members. We all know what Tamako-Death does with his fire based Shard, as well as its name. Your idea for the Shard for the drummer (whom I would call Shocking-Death) is a good one, as is its name, namely, Raging Tempo. Now as for your bassist (whom I will call Icy-Death), we can simply have his Shard be like an ice based version of one of the attacks of Spark Man from Mega/Rock Man 3 (I think), which is an attack that goes in eight different directions, but that will look like giant ice stalactites/icicles that look like a giant eight-pointed shuriken, and then you could add a sort of mine/grenade/bomb/dynamite/fireworks/C4 type explosive mechanic that could do even more damage upon contact for any of those ice stalactites/icicles, and you could call the overall Shard Ice Bomb. Now as for the vocalist, I suggest a bit more depth into the attack. I would make the Slow and Lethargy attacks as you had described work for the backup singers that I would refer to as Siren-Death. However, as for the lead vocalist/lead singer (whom I would call Enchanting-Death), I would not only add the skills of Siren-Death to them, but that I would also add some additional things, namely, his ability to make people freeze into place, as only the Malediction, Seeker, and one more enemy that eludes me, have such an attack that is Stone based, and theirs only affect a single target. However, unlike an ice attack, it would be an attack that would turn people into Stone, as you have conveniently ignored the fact that there are enemies that can turn you to stone, as well as Shards that can turn enemies into stone. The name of the new Stone based attack would be called Mesmerize and it would project out in waves that are similar to Gale Crusher, as well as to your Raging Tempo. The keyboardists would be divided into two groups, namely, what I would refer to as the Puppet-Death and the Puppet Master-Death. The Puppet-Death keyboard players will be able to amplify, not only the attacks of a single band member, but also any of the band members, twofold. Now Puppet Master-Death, on the other hand, can not only do that to any other band member, but also ANY enemy, that is on the screen, fourfold. Their Shards could be called Amplify and Control, respectively, and they do like their names suggest. What do you think of my ideas?
