I've compiled a spreadsheet of all food items and compared them to potions. All consumable prices and cost efficiencies are included. Link to the google sheet here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-wpS_taTYN9-J8fjh6ZsgsNy-bVRMAL5Wz0UkNb0YzA/In Short: Potions are actually some of the most cost effective healing items in the game with crafted high potions being second only to the humble Curry & Rice. EDIT: Did some quick math: In order for Ex potions to match the Curry in cost efficiency you need to heal at least 3,333(rounded down) health with each Ex potion. |

I believe Curry & rice has been stealth nerfed with the Zangetsu update. Currently 150 down from 200 so its healing has been brought into the same cost effectiveness as healing potions. Sheet updated.
If anyone else knows of any other healing item changes please let me know so I can update the sheet.
Edit: Now the most cost effective healing food is the uni rice bowl (assuming it also didn't get nerfed) which is tied with crafted high potions.

Oh damn! that's very shady of them to shadow nerf the game. They received a lot of backlash from previous nerf so now they shadow nerf and hope no one notices it? I have a suggestion for them, don't fix what ain't broken. |
