I still remember playing The 7th Guest... my friend had bought a one-speed CD-ROM player. Good times.

In any case, you may know that the 7th Guest folks tried to do a KS campaign (twice) and failed both times (long story). It looks like in the meantime, they've given the green light to a fan-based game called the 13th Doll. It breaks a bit from the originals (is free roam), but take a look if you get the chance....
