First of all, let me say that the game is great and I’m enjoying it a lot. For me it’s a clear succesor of SotN.
That said, I’m from Spain and as the title suggests, I’ve found the Spanish translation to be the worst I’ve seen on the last 15 years. It’s full of mistakes: I started getting screenshots of every error about mid game because I couldn’t believe it and I had to stop because I couldn’t enjoy the game getting screenshots every 2 seconds on each dialog and menu.
I don’t know if this translation was done by someone really amateur or if the budget for translations was so low that they had to hire the cheapest agency/person but this is something that clearly ruins the experience of a great game.
PLEASE, reconsider this. I can point you to really good professional translators if you’re interested on making this game perfect.

I've heard bad things about the Chinese translation too, Angel specifically mentioned to me they'd be taking a look at it. I'll tell him the Spanish translation seems to have problems, though I suppose I might as well tag him...hey Angel-Corlux , the Spanish translation of Bloodstained RotN seems to have a lot to be desired as well.

It seems like every localisation other than English was done somewhat poorly. The Brazilian Portuguese is also just as terrible, with lots of typos, missing whitespaces and questionable decisions. They probably haven't done a single QA session at all, and it's obvious that whoever did the translation isn't used to work with games, because everything was translated in the most literal sense possible. I wasn't really that bothered by it as I always play games in English, but when I decided to check out how it went, well let's say I was surprised by how bad it ended up being lol.

Even the English version is flat-out missing words from the dialogue. They may have bug/play tested, but I don't think they proof-read. It's not the end of the world but it's a bit jarring to see part of a sentence missing every now and then. I know someone who does Spanish translation work for Ubisoft as a contractor. If anyone at 505 needs help, I could try to reach her.

Since there's no spoken dialogue for the other languages aside from Japanese, I can see why it would be more irksome.

Question Angel-Corlux I'm a LATAM Spanish / American English bilingual native speaker, a freelance translator, a college language professor, and I've worked as a technical translator / interpreter for English-Japanese at well-known Japanese game company. I've also translated a history book from Spanish to Japanese... ... and I'm always eager to help! Also, going from LATAM Spanish to Iberian Spanish and vice-versa is not too difficult - you don't need a translator, just a native speaker from the target variant to do a rewrite. It'll earn you tons of goodwill with your Spanish speaking audience if you do that for the sequel - worth the investment, if you ask me.

Hey dareka appreciate the offer, I know the production team is already working to do a fresh pass on all localization, but will keep your kind offer in mind.
