Hello! All versions of Bloodstained will have these languages, which does include traditional Chinese: For localization, this is the most recent info I have: Text & Menus: English (American & British), French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean. Voice Acting: Japanese and English For Spanish, specifically, I believe it's LATAM Spanish. If for some reason GOG is excluded, Question can correct me, but it should be the same for all versions of the game

ch40Just out of curiosity since it’s something I’ve always wondered: What’s the difference between Traditional Chinese and Simplified and why do you prefer the former over the latter? I obviously ask this as someone who doesn’t speak the language so if you can answer my question could you please do it as if I was a 5 year old (aka as simple as possible lol)? Thank you.

It like US English and UK English, but TC and SC are more different. Most of time they use different font, and use some different words ,slang and grammars. by example: Orchid in SC called "兰花", In TC called "蘭花" ...different font. Potato in SC called "土豆", In TC called "馬鈴薯" ...different word. Sadly some game developer think both are same language, and convert Simplified Chinese to Traditional Chinese directly... But still some games Localization are amazing.. like GTAV.

Aztec You can read this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debate_on_traditional_and_simplified_Chinese_charactersHi, I am Taiwanese, I think I can answer your question with my poor English In Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau's are learning Traditional Chinese. In China, Malaysia, Singapore and almost oversea Chinese are learning Simplified Chinese. What difference between of them? Both of them grammar and pronunciation almost SAME. I might say Simplified Chinese is easy to learn and efficient. So someone learn Chinese as a Foreign Language will learn Simplified Chinese. But why Traditional Chinese still using yet? TL;DR answer: because historical factorI think in before Taiwan have political factors, I can't use English(poor) to explain it. You can check this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_status_of_TaiwanBefore Hong Kong and Macau have be colonial. When China is pushing Simplified Chinese to be official Language. HK and Macau not liberated yet, and their official Language is Traditional Chinese. So when they become part of China (Special administrative regions) is too late change people's habit xD. So Traditional Chinese bad? No, both positive and negative sides. Although TC is harder to learn than SC, but sometimes SC can't accurate and oversimplified to reading.(because some word look same) And TC can logical to learn. I can't explain too, this is linguistics too hard for me xD. BTW, I think TC is more beautiful than SC. SO CAN YOU JUST GIVE ME SOME EXAMPLES PLEASE? Door in TC is 門, SC is 门 Car in TC is 車, SC is 车 Hair in TC is 髮, SC is 发 Saint or holy TC is 聖, SC is 圣 Scare or shock TC is 驚, SC is 惊 as you can see. SC is easier to write, but I can't use linguistics to explain a word I never seem before. But in TC maybe I can guess what is this word meaning. BTW, TC or SC user can read them both is fine. If TC user never read SC before maybe can understand 80% of them. I think some Chinese if read this reply will get mad(because political issue), if admin think this reply have issue or people are arguing, you can just delete is alright.

Thank you for the responses!
As a non speaker the one thing that immediately pops out is that SC is much easier to write so before you explained it to me I kind of inferred that that’s the one that foreigners choose to learn first since it’s “easier”.
