Kickstarter Update #86 - Reward PreviewIt’s release month! You are now dangerously close to holding in your hands (or on your hard drive, as the case may be) a copy of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the game you helped make possible. Games have already begun arriving at the warehouse to be prepared for shipment. With release month finally here, we thought now would be a good time to show you some of the rewards we’ve been working on. (Don’t worry, we won’t show you the giant castle map from the $500 tier—it’s a little early to spoil that.) First up is the $60 backer-exclusive slipcase. We really like how the holo-foil finish turned out, and we hope you will too. (The Ayami Kojima art for the $100+ "Alchemist's Treasure" rewards has arrived, too, and we plan on showing it off in a future update—it is... extremely good.)   We also wanted to show you the backer-exclusive shirt. Designed by Nina Matsumoto, who did our earlier Alchemist’s Curse design, this one—which we’ll only be printing for the backer rewards—features Gremory.  Next week we'll be showing you more of the rewards and passing along your final game distribution/shipping details and instructions—you'll be playing Bloodstained before you know it. Until then, enjoy the home stretch.

Ok yeah, that slip case does look nice. I tend to worry about slipcases in terms of "will I be able to keep this looking nice years from now?"
Not just with slip cases either, but in general. OCD sucks.

Ok yeah, that slip case does look nice. I tend to worry about slipcases in terms of "will I be able to keep this looking nice years from now?" Not just with slip cases either, but in general. OCD sucks. I wouldn't worry. It's valued at $10 which probably equals a really high quality. The slipcase looks beautiful. On another note, I'm looking forward to the update next week regarding our final game distribution/shipping details and instructions. |

Slipcase is ok, even though I am concerned about the quality. I can’t wait to see Kojima’s artwork! I am so excited to finally see it. I imagine what would be on the artwork, which characters. I would like that it is not too crowded. I would prefer Zangetsu, but I guess lifeless Miriam and Gebel have more chance.
The t-shirt is nice, but I would have liked Zangetsu to be on it. Seems I am more fan of the Curse of the moon that Ritual, hehe..So maybe Gremory will be the final boss here as well.

Wouldn't ya know the slipcase/not a sleeve but who cares about semantics, looks fucking awesome and just as cool if not cooler than the steelbook...... I still want a steelbook in addition though!
Shirt is gorgeous by the way can't wait for mine

I did not back at the tier that would get me the shirt, but I am fine with that, to be honest. Shirt does not look that interesting to me. Should have been in black for a gothic game like this.

Rey, you might like Zangetsu/Curse more largely because you've actually fully seen/played that game and the character haha I will be able to decide after playing both  I do like the character of Zangetsu much more than Miriam. I find her boring compared to Shanoa, although better than Charlotte. I don’t really like Miriam’s design, her face. It will be so fantastic to have Zangetsu as a playable character in Ritual, I can’t wait to get to that mode and wish it was possible to start with him. I am sure he will be popular and we will also get merchandise with his artwork. |

To be fair, do we even know outside of possible fanart how endowed Shanoa would have been? I mean, she WAS wearing the iron plate on her chest, which hides her form there, and still confuses me as to how it was staying attached to such thin fabric that was only tied around her neck.
