At $300, the only thing I'm missing out on besides the really ridiculous stuff like the silver rings made by Iga himself and getting to add content into the actual game, is the castle map and now that the game is lil more than a month away I find myself kinda wishing I had gone for it. Sure the extra $200 for the map would never have been "worth it" but part of me wishes I had paid the piper for that one last prize. Initially I only put myself down for enough to get the art book, but then I had to re-input my pledge a few days later, and I said "The hell with it!" and went for the autograph. Had the project not clearly been so successfully funded I may very well have committed those extra couple hundred bucks, but as it was IGA and company had FAR MORE than enough and a massively oversized map that I might open once or twice but probably never have an actual use for would never be worth $200, so I settled for the autographs and when I saw the notice last year at this time that the option to change your tier was closing I felt confident I'd made the right decision for me. Sure I'd have loved to have gotten everything including the dinner with Iga (Even though I'm certain I'd have no clue what to say or do) or help design certain aspects of the game, but no way could I justify 1K let alone 10K. I do know that I made the right decision but I suspect I'll miss that treasure map when I get my treasure box this June.
How about everyone else, do you wish you had spent more... or maybe even less now that we are almost to the end of this journey? Also I never heard anything about the things like the stained glass pieces or the silver rings or the dinner with IGA, what it was like to get your pet into the game or help design a room. I'm curious if anyone can show pictures, tell stories now or after the games release.

I backed the $150 tier initially, then moved up to the $300 tier because I started working on a big Castlevania collection of original games and items and it was too good of an opportunity to pass up. Nowadays I still think I made the right choice because anything higher than that isn't remotely worth it (IMO) and even though the tier I backed is expensive in itself (especially for a student with a very occasional job) I still dig it for the collection reasons. If I hadn't my collection, based on my enthusiasm right now though I think I wouldn't have spent nearly as much. Were I to "preorder" a tier right now, without my collection I'd probably settle on no higher than $100. But still, I care deeply about my collection so I'm fine with my choice.

freddythemonkeyKnow what you mean, I'm glad I was a part of this, that I spent more than just pre-ordering a copy money and that my money went towards helping to make the game and giving IGA a chance to stand on his own, I haven't been happy with every decision and I'm sure there will be a few more bumps but as it stands I'm still excited and think this is gonna be great. But on the off chance that their will be another kickstarter I'll be alot more hesitant to take part in or spend anywhere near as much. What parts of your rewards are you most looking forward too?

But on the off chance that their will be another kickstarter I'll be alot more hesitant to take part in or spend anywhere near as much. What parts of your rewards are you most looking forward too? There are a number of neat things: I'm pretty excited for the autographed box, the Ayami Kojima art (which I hope isn't revealed beforehand so I have a full surprise) and especially the OST. I think it's almost all of what's included in the box lol I'm slightly less excited about the artbook. Partly because the team has changed so I don't know who did the art that's ultimately featured in the artbook (and while I liked the original Natsume style and Mana's style especially I'd like consistency) and partly because artbooks included in special editions of videogames usually are pretty crappy. I bought Ys 8 special edition and the artbook included in the box was surely comprehensive, but while the art in that game is godlike the book was small, not as high quality as I'd have liked and kinda cheap looking. I guess that it's because I buy actual retail artbooks, I love them, so I'd prefer a full blown, high quality and appropriately priced big artbook to check out. But I understand that artbooks are a very common choice for a reward and you can't really do a 300 pages artbook like Okami's if you don't want to skyrocket the costs.

I suppose there is one autograph that I will miss, Yoshitaka Amano's, on his poster, that will suck but no not worth $500 on top of $300. I spoke to a channel owner on YouTube that paid a grand so that David Hayter would promote his channel in the voice samples, I hope that works out for him cause that's actually pretty cool.
Anyone else desire something from or altogether another reward tier?

Yeah, I still wish I had sprung for Runic Forge (design a weapon) tier, but it's probably best that I didn't given medical expenses that would come.

I do. I couldn't initially afford that much(started with just the $60 tier), but I did eventually end up with the $300 signed Collector's Box. I would have liked to have bumped it up to $500 for the map print, but they closed the tiers about a week before I would have been able to grab it. I'm not super upset about it or anything, it would have just made for an interesting wall decoration.

Everything is always easier in hindsight :-)
Understanding that the Kickstarter could have fallen through, I'm okay with the $28 tier. I think I made a good decision based on what information was available at the time.

The full game, Curse of the Moon and as far as we know all stretch goals + things like Pure Miriam.

$100 was my top, because I was not too confident to Kickstarter at the time, but the offer was so tempting that I decide to back the project, and the Alchemist Treasure is a generous and attractive package with a cool collectors sleeve with art by the legendary artist Ayami Kojima, the full and physical OST by the VGM Elder God-tier composers Michiru Yamane and Ippo Yamada, and lots of neat swag like the retro booklet.
I hope in the near future get the Bloodstained: RotN Artbook on Ebay because it's the only thing that I missed and care about the other tiers, and personally, I'm not a big fan of autographs, so I'm very happy with the Alchemist Treasure-tier and I think I made the right choice. I regret nothing.webm

I kinda wish I got the map, but I wasn't about to spend double what I was already paying just for that.

Yeah, I still wish I had sprung for Runic Forge (design a weapon) tier, but it's probably best that I didn't given medical expenses that would come. I would have loved to have developed a weapon for the game since I was wanted whip to win the "sword or whip" contest. Mine would have been a whip with the head of a poisonous snake, maybe make it connected to Medusa somehow and as such connect it to Castlevania! insert quote hereScars Unseen I will definitely be looking for an image of what I missed out on when pics of the map start floating about the forum/internet. rav4ishing It's always better to error on the side of caution when it comes to investing your money because it's never a sure thing.

Not much on my end. I jumped in at the 300 tier and paid another 60 to add another digital code. Map would've been neat but I couldn't really justify adding another 200 bucks just to get it, ha.

I will forever regret not just charging the damn $1300 and getting the Ancestral Bloodlines teir with my portrait in game. I did have it and I changed my mind and then changed it again and by then, someone already took last spot. I will take this regret to my grave.....

Over the course of the campaign I slowly rose from $60 to $100 to $150 because I wanted the art book and the soundtrack (and my name in the credits because thats cool). I sat that way for 2 years and when the slacker backer campaign had its end announced I was in a good spot money wise and decided I REALLY wanted my stuff signed.
So I ended on $300 for the shirt, poster, collector box and signatures. Anything beyond that just felt unnecessary even if I'd had that much money to blow. So Im pretty thrilled.

I absolutely love Ayami Kojima's artwork, so I'm a little bummed I never upgraded my pledge to $100 while I had the chance. ...but it's also just a sleeve, so I'm not too torn up about it.

I feel satisfied with the $100 tier. I intend to use the discs once and store them somewhere nice so they stay like new. Flaunting the lapel and keychain will be fun and might even be talking points to get people into the game after launch.
