I am wondering if I am the only one with this experience. Pledged for two copies, physical for PS4, digital on PS Vita (originally). Once the PS Vita version got canceled I switched the digital version over to Steam so I KNOW I would have access to one of my backer copies for a long time. But the last few weeks I realized something. I am planning on buying a Switch some time this year, the reason I originally wanted the PS Vita version of the game was so I could take it anywhere, and the Switch would allow that. Now I am kicking myself for not getting a third backer version for the Switch so I could enjoy everything I will have on Steam and PS4 on the Switch as well when I eventually buy it. Unless someone knows how to work freaking miracles I will have to settle for the vanilla version on The Switch when I buy one.
For those who read my little mini rant, thank you, by all means, use this thread to vent (in healthy ways of course) if you regret not getting an extra copy. You have my sympathies fellow creatures of the night.

Honestly personally I doubt I'll much use my digital copy at all. Just gonna be playing on my PS4.

I'd rather have the ability to play a game on any system I own rather than have multiple copies that each only work on one, personally. I find it unlikely we'll get there any time soon if ever, though.

I wouldn't despair in harmony yet, we don't know what the "vanilla" copies will lack (or not lack) quite yet. It may too be a simple matter of adding late-available DLC or something. As for the main question itself - as someone with 4 copies already, yeah should have went for more  |

I got 4 copies too but I wish I got at least one extra digital copy for my xbox one x... so I don't need to open the physical copy. it's cool though I only really bought it to support the developers... I wonder if I have a physical backer version and get a normal digital version on the same console... will it acknowledge my physical backer stuff?... I doubt it but it would be cool.

lool the one I don't have is the Xbox vers too. In the back of my mind, I consider getting a One X for the HDR/4k rather than a Pro. My PC...eh, not sure that'll work out.

I got an xbox one x more for a 4k player... and I have to admit it is freaking awesome hahah (after the stupid and slightly confusing setup)... I am only gonna play it on my xbox one x to get close to 4k (I hope the xbox one x has 4k textures).

The tier I backed is for one copy of the game (PS4), but there were lower tiers that included two copies. So there were a few times I wondered if I should have gotten a Vita copy as well. Ultimately I doubt I would have played it much, if at all, and they ended up canceling the Vita version anyway, so I made the right decision.

4 copies here. Which 2 of them for consoles I do not even own. One Switch and one PS4.
Since I am waiting on Switch 2.0 and PS5, and having them on my main go-to gaming device: computer. I am fine.
Since PS Vita was discontinued, I now will have 2 on PC, one for GOG and one for Steam. This is fine, because I will look into modding, and having 2 of the game allows me to experiment and see if mods will work on both, which it should.
I felt I never ever gamble, or invest money in anything long-term, but I did on this.
Matter a fact this is one out of 2 Kickstarter projects I ever backed and will ever back (as of what I feel at the moment and have been for some time now). The other project was suppose to release years ago, and was mentioned for me to play until the release of Bloodstained, but nothing yet.
It's ok though, I still have Castlevania on DS to finish.

1 Switch copy, since they auto-upgraded it once they canned the Wii U version (yay for that custom sleeve and other goodies) and a Steam copy. My hype for the game derailed months ago after things got heated from the 'Beta', if it can truly be called such, but I'm still eagerly awaiting what should be one of IGA's best creations yet. I just see too many SotN nostalgia bugs creeping into people's hearts and that's not cool. Love SotN, one of the best games on the face of this sad little rock, but let RotN do its OWN thing. Pave its OWN way into the future, instead of being forced to fill shoes it has no business having to fill.

I'm happy with my PS4 hard copy and GOG digital copy. Of course if there's a complete edition (with added DLC and patches) or a next-gen console remaster I'd certainly buy a copy of that as well.

Vampire I just tagged you in a thread about a new Curse of the Moon physical coming out. And yeah all of the tiers at 125, 175 and above got two copies of RotN, 1 physical and 1 digital. If you lost your PSN and were a high tier backer of it, you probably still have a second digital version of CotM in your survey to use. Everyone got one copy of that game per copy of RotN.
