I believe that Wayforward was brought in much earlier, it's just that their involvement was announced very late due to paperwork, etc, yada yada. I forgot where I read that, so don't quote me on this.
I sorta like to believe that being able to customize Miriam with green skin is a Shantae reference for Rottytops.

I'd like to say I think the game will be enjoyable, etc., but I find myself drifting into thoughts of this being the best Castletroid ever. It's very, very hard not to get excited. |
