To reach this, it was a long ride Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be released in 2019. This was a long ride, with ups and downs, but with the game already rated by ESRB and mostly complete, in process of bug smashing and refining, it is just a matter of time now. IGA has said before that he would like to make a sequel, that he intend for Bloodstained to turn into a franchise and, once, he said that they planned "two more games", as illusive as that answer may be. We all know that Indie Games is not something easy to turn into sequels, and the last attempts from big names of the gaming industry didn't got it right completely. We also know that Bloodstained already suffered serious backlash due to delays and some questionable moves, but the game is still considered among the most antecipated games of this year and several people still hopes it is going to be a great game. IGA has said he want to make sequels and a franchise but said that all that depends mostly on how the game will sell and if it will be a sucessful game. Let's consider, for a moment, that the game was released and it was a great game, with enough selling to make a sequel. HOW wold you like for that to happen? From the most detailed aspects to the more generic ones. I did a thread a bit like this one, years ago. It's time to renew it. Answer the questions BELOW! 1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel? 2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter? 3) Would you like if Bloodstained followed a consistent timeline (with each game happening after the other one) a convoluted timeline (like Castlevania, where games was released at different centuries and years) or a meta-like timeline (where each game happens at it's own universe, sharing common elements, like most Final Fantasy games) or some other way? 4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why? 5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)? 6) Along the years, Igavania games tried to update or change the usual formula. While Symphony of the Night and Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow had mostly the same overall idea (Metroidvania gameplay inside a huge castle / fortress-look-a-like) some other games tried something new (Portrait of Ruin had portraits that teleported you to other scenarios, Order of Ecclesia had regions separated from the main castle). Ritual of the Night seems to have followed mostly the classic SOTN formula, with (as of now). Would you like if Bloodstained sequel followed the same formula, or tried something new like PoR and OoE tried? (or something else). 7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)? 8) IGA has stated before that Soul Dominance was the best magic system his team ever created and he wanted to use it again, or variations of it (that's one reason of why Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia exists). Bloodstained has the Shardbinder, that is a updated version of Soul Dominance. For a Bloodstained Sequel, would you like if the main character had a magic system following the same premise? (stealing something from enemies and using that as powers) or something completely different? What? 9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts) 10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel? That's all folks!

I certainly hope it turns into a franchise. I can't really answer most of those questions though, as I'd need to play the game first. I do think the soul system is the best (Dawn of Sorrow is my favorite) and I like the standard leveling system.

I hope that the first game will be successful so that it might be a good starting point for a franchise but as Overlord said, can't answer the majority of those questions without playing it first. One thing is certain: I really hope they don't need to start a new Kickstarter campaign for the sequel. If there will be a new Kickstarter campaign, I'd ignore it completely and just wait for the finished product.

Ooh, cool, another questionnaire. I shall provide my obligatory answers... in the usual green textTM.
1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel?
This is actually a difficult one to answer, because (if I recall correctly) I think IGA had stated he didn't plan for a sequel to use the Kickstarter crowdfunding model. ^ On the one hand, I wouldn't agree to the developers needing one, but on the other hand? Yes, I'd contribute my money to it.
2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter?
Do you mean the initial minimum funding goal? Somewhere in the range of $500,000 to $1,500,000... because Bloodstained's own campaign already received 3x its minimum funding goal within its first day.
That honestly doesn't matter to me, so long as it's a great game. However, I'm sure the majority would prefer a consistent timeline.
4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why?
The Mysterious Man.... as an excuse for more Robert Belgrade voice-acting.
5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)?
I'm okay with RotN's current 2.5D graphics being used again for a theoretical sequel, but I'd also like to see the 2D concept-art on the main campaign page realized as the graphics for a full-game (probably another "retro" spin-off like Curse of the Moon, but with Guilty Gear-like 2D artwork).
6) Would you like if Bloodstained sequel followed the same formula, or tried something new like PoR and OoE tried? (or something else).
Ritual of the Night itself seems to have areas outside of Gebel's Castle too (such as the beginning Galleon Minerva area, which you can revisit; and the Village). I don't mind either way, so long as the main "Castle" area is gigantic and fun to explore.
7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)?
Gender matters not to me, but I do prefer multiple playable characters (each with actual story involvement and access to inventory menus).
What?
If said main character is a Shardbinder as well, then sure. I'm still wondering how differently Zangetsu will play (assuming he's one of the other two playable characters in RotN), or if Gebel might just be a souped-up version of Miriam [who equips cloaks instead of scarves], so maybe if there was a "Demon Hunter" character like the former... yes, I'd like to see a different gameplay system.
9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts)
I'd much prefer the standard RPG EXP/Leveling system... but if you really want to try something different for an "Igavania"-style game? I thought of following a similar concept to the Headhunter Enchant Soul from Aria of Sorrow. Would that work? The more Shards you collect (and possibly depending on which types you collect), the more that certain stats will improve?
10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel?
Unless they promise to make Shovel Armor one of the main playable characters?... I've got nothing.

1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel?
I would, but hopefully they wouldn't need it and I can't realistically see it happen. I'm torn on the idea though, because I love all the extra fun the campaign provided and the much higher volume of physical stuff and involvement with the game we have, but all that comes at a high price to the teams involved as well.
2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter?
Depends on if the "prove to a publisher" thing is the aim again, which would seem moot at this point. If it just needed help getting off the ground for whatever reason, no idea.
Any of those are fine with me. How Castlevania was done didn't bother me at all.
4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why?
Dominique, obviously, because I like the caster characters and those affiliated with the church (i.e. the original Belnades family). The Netflix show left me a bit wanting in that department even more, as you can imagine.
5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)?
2D will always be my favorite, but I'm not averse to whatever they want to go with.
I like how OoE did it, the game felt like an older Castlevania title in that way, reminding me of CV2 and Bloodlines, with also having a sort of "stage select". Mixing it up and making something different is certainly fine with me, but there is nothing wrong with the existing classic formula either.
7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)?
Castlevania MCs were almost always male, so with Bloodstained, them being predominantly female would be neat in that way. I don't have a strong opinion either way. I do like Iga's female designs more than the males on average, though.
What?
This is one thing I'm not really that into, "monster/demon powers". I'd rather use something inherent to the character, blessed weapons/items/attacks etc rather than "making the darkness my own power". I much more like and prefer the "light" when it comes to fighting evil rather than the whole "I'm the son of/clone of/technically THE bad guy or at least using a form of his power and I will cut everyone with my angsty edge". I roll my eyes whenever the side of good/light turns corrupt. There's more than enough of that nowadays.
9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts)
Depends on the genre of the game to me. It can work better in 3D action like LoI or a DMC game to just have upgrade items, or for extra modes in a 2D Igavania. I think that the main game experience in an Igavania game could work okay without traditional leveling, but in the end it might just make gear that much more important rather than serve an innovative purpose. Caps per area would just feel limiting and arbitrary and something much more complex I'm not sure would add anything worthwhile.
10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel?
Small thing, but I think I'd like if all the candles didn't have to be purple next time lol.

My wishlist for what I want in a sequel is almost always based on what I perceived as shortcomings in its predecessor, so it follows that I can't adequately answer many of these questions until after I've played the game.
5) I know it's probably not gonna happen, but I always love seeing beautiful hand-drawn 2D games like the ones Lizardcube and Lab Zero make.
6) The easiest way to get me disappointed in an otherwise great Metroidvania is to make it too linear, so I think I'm always going to prefer the singular, comically-large castle approach.
10) I think it would be great if all equipment appeared on your character model, and not just your weapons and accessories. Of course, I realize some might consider this a waste of time and effort, and IGA might not want players immediately unequipping everything and running around in their underwear as if they were playing Xenoblade Chronicles.

1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel?
depends on how much I enjoy Bloodstained when it does release / how many copies it sells as if it sells too well it would sound greedy to go back to Kickstarter
2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter?
if it does go to a kickstarter it would have to not have any main goal at all and just be there for stretch goals because if it doesn't sell well enough to make a sequel even without all the stretch goals the first game had I would lose too much confidence in a sequel
I prefer consistent timelines
4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why?
that question would be best answered after playing through the whole game.
5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)?
I love how ROTN looks and was always assuming the likely sequel was going to reuse some assets to speed up the development and lower costs, some improvements are expected but I wouldn't want to go too far off course from what the first game is
6) Along the years, Igavania games tried to update or change the usual formula. (or something else).
small changes to keep it feeling fresh but nothing major
7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)? no preference
What?
something different as I hope to find in the other playable characters of ROTN as well, not creative enough to know what, wouldn't say completely different as I want something similar I just like small changes to keep things feeling fresh
9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts)
better understanding of what should happen after I play the full game, but based on the beta I would prefer no leveling system at all as I was enjoying trying to 100% everything before I beat it with crafting a bunch of cool stuff early on but that was making me way too OP just from level no matter what equipment I used
10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel? no

1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel? I strongly prefer that the sequel will absolutely not need crowdfunding. I believe the Kickstarter campaign for Bloodstained helped tremendously in many ways, but where I thought it was the most effective is to prove to publishers that we want more IGA games and that we still want the solidly-built Igavania from the man himself given he left Konami and willing to help for that cause. Now that we are getting Bloodstained, I don't think Kickstarter is going to be necessary going forward.
2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter? It's hard to say. I'd leave that up to Iga. Not a fan of the idea of a Kickstarter for the sequel, but if this apparently happens, I feel I can be able to better answer this question for you!3) Would you like if Bloodstained followed a consistent timeline (with each game happening after the other one) a convoluted timeline (like Castlevania, where games was released at different centuries and years) or a meta-like timeline (where each game happens at it's own universe, sharing common elements, like most Final Fantasy games) or some other way? Most of the handheld Igavanias followed the meta-like timeline, with the exception of Aria/Dawn. So I'd be expecting the meta. But of course, whatever Iga decides on is good with me.4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why? I really don't know. I'd have to play the full game to properly answer this question! 5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)? I would really like it to be 2.5D. I feel that Iga will carry over his experiences and understandings behind the entire creation of Bloodstained, along with the feedback from us fans from our gameplay analyses, to the sequel to serve as the baseline for the development of the sequel. I believe that, as a result, we will get a game worthy of being called "the sequel to Bloodstained". I really don't mind what formula the sequel follows. Since all Igavanias are for the most part using different formulae, I'd expect the same kind of thing for the Bloodstained series. I can say this since I did play all of the Igavanias 7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)? It doesn't really matter to me in the general sense, but since Bloodstained's was female, why not then go male for the sequel for a difference?8) IGA has stated before that Soul Dominance was the best magic system his team ever created and he wanted to use it again, or variations of it (that's one reason of why Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia exists). Bloodstained has the Shardbinder, that is a updated version of Soul Dominance. For a Bloodstained Sequel, would you like if the main character had a magic system following the same premise? (stealing something from enemies and using that as powers) or something completely different? What? If the sequel will continue "the tradition of the shard-binding system", then I'm totally ok with this. Thinking of the sequel without shard-binding, if the sequel will have the word "Bloodstained" somewhere in the title or subtitle, the "stained" part of "Bloodstained" may possibly need to take on a different meaning than for "stained glass".9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts) Standard EXP and leveling mechanic for me!10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel? Maybe have a casino section somewhere found within the protagonist's travels, like in Dragon Quest? That is assuming that such is not in Bloodstained already.

1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel? A: Probably not.
2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter? A: Minimum the same as what they raised this time.
A: For me a consistent timeline is a must.
4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why? A: Most likely Miriam. Beyond that it depends on the story, I still think that Johannes is the villain and Gebel is a happenstance villain. Alfred would be good. My bets are also on Zangetsu having a spinoff.
5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)? A: 2D.
A: As long as it retains the Metroidvania ability to backtrack I am not opposed to any major changes in game layout.
7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)? A: As long as they are a character with a personality I don't really have a preference. I would prefer having multiple main characters, as in each character could be picked at the start of the game and you follow their story. Adds replay and can have more in depth story.
What? A: I like to collect so any system that allows for hunting is great in my book. But I also loved the SotN system where you just had button inputs to cast spells.
9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts) A: Igavanias are RPGs to me, if anything were to change I would like a system where you allocate your points or maybe a skill tree. Meaningful choices are way more fun.
10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel? A: Not to be insensitive, but with the platform cuts I would oppose releasing sequels on systems that weren't available to RotN on launch. That feels like it would be a slap in the face to current backers who won't be able to play RotN.

1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel?
Hell yeah.
2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter?
Can't say, to be honest.
Does "semi-convoluted" make sense? I like convolution, it creates a sense of mystery. But I also want it to make sense. Like, the next game could be a sequel. But the third game could be a prequel to the first game or a timeline that was simultaneous between the first and the second game's timelines. When I played SotN, I was wondering what the hell it was about and I never even played Rondo back then. Played AoS, wondered who the hell Arikado was. And when I got to Yoko, I was mindblown upon knowing that he was actually Alucard.
4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why?
I don't want Bloodstained to be a "legacy of a family" of some sorts. But, sure, I'd like a bloodline that was destined to be hunters of the dark a la Belmonts. But I like Miriam's archetype of being a mere orphan with resolve to do something. I'd like Miriam to be the main protagonist in at least two games, and then anyone else can be the protagonist in other games.
5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)?
I prefer the same old IGAVania gameplay. But, it'd be nice if we had a game of a smaller scope with 2D sprite graphics. Even better if we get a 2D hand-drawn one...
Each to his own, but... I'd like an overworld with places that has its own map (like OoE). Maybe a Megaman format could work. Let's say, four places with large maps, each with a couple of bosses and a big cheese you gotta beat and its own line of exploration. Certain unlockables in each area. Upon defeating the big cheese of each area, the final largest area (could be a castle again) will be unlocked (again, like OoE). Additionally, I'd like the four areas to have intentionally unreachable places where if you have the right relics, you can reach or get to them. It encourages backtracking.
7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)?
Doesn't matter which gender. If it's an awesome character, I'm up for it. I like badass women, but the good ol' strong boy will do too.
What?
Something different. I like the DSS system from Circle of the Moon. Maybe an updated version of that system will work. I also want Glyphs to make a return, and even the elemental books from HoD. RotN is basically SotN+AoS/DoS. I'd like an updated version of all the magic systems IGA has created. Heck, I'd even like the partner system back, where you have two main characters. With the possibilities being almost limitless, we could even have a co-op mode.
9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts)
I like how Julius worked in AoS. He starts off with low damage, but it gradually increases for every boss he beats. I admit that the EXP system is a little tiring (or too grindy). It works, but I want power that scales over progress, not grind. We could turn EXP into currency like Souls or Blood Echoes in the Soulsborne series, where we have to level up individual stats to encourage gameplay variety. Felt like using magic more than your weapons? Max the stat that makes your shards stronger... You get the point.
10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel?
I just want it to be a better game than RotN, to be honest. And anything to sate this "Castlevania thirst" will suffice.

1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel?
Without hesitation.
2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter?
Second verse, same as the first?
3) Would you like if Bloodstained followed a consistent timeline (with each game happening after the other one) a convoluted timeline (like Castlevania, where games was released at different centuries and years) or a meta-like timeline (where each game happens at it's own universe, sharing common elements, like most Final Fantasy games) or some other way?
Whatever the heck the devs want to do that helps them feel inspired while making the game. Far less likely to suck if they don't feel 'pinned down'.
4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why?
Yes, Alfred, because he's the best. He's not evil, just deeply misunderstood (sob!).
5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)?
2.5D is fine for me.
I think different contexts of characters is a good justification for different abilities. I doubt there will be more 'Shardbinders', so maybe playing as an Alchemist, a demon slayer, or something else would be a good reason to have a new system. I like that the game mechanics are tied to the characters and setting. Makes it neat. Familiar but refreshing.
7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)?
As long as the gameplay maintains solid familiarity, I'm up for anything.
What?
I'm all down for whatever justification is used for Megaman logic on steroids. Crafting up 'crappy' shards into powerful nukes looks like it will be fun, too!
9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts)
I like EXP and level. I'm a tabletop RPG guy, so that will always have a place in my heart.
10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel?
Is there such a thing as 'big enough'? No. There is not. BIGGAR!

All right, let's take a crack at this. Answers will be in this colour.
1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel?
- Provided I had the money at the time? Absolutely. Nothing about Bloodstained thus far has given me any reason to doubt.
2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter?
- Hard to say. I think that they should keep their asking conservative, though. If RotN does well, they will have other sources of funding to call on. If not, they won't have as much trust to ask for a big budget.
- I definitely prefer that games have a connected timeline. It allows for events to be referenced and to build up and expand a body of lore. Beyond that, my preference isn't strong, but I don't mind a convoluted one. It's more flexible, and lets the creative team focus on where they can tell the best story at the time.
4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why?
- It's a little too soon to say. However, I'd say that there is certainly some interesting potential for repeat characters, descendants, or ancestors.
5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)?
- To me, a lot of modern 2.5D graphics look pretty jank, so I do have a preference for sprites, but having enjoyed Lament of Innocence back in the day, and having been won over by Ritual of the Night's demo, I have confidence that any style they decide on will work.
- It seems pretty inevitable to me that any new game in the series will play with the formula a bit. As long as they don't stray too far from their roots, I think it should be fine. That said, my favourite Igavania games have been the ones closer to the "core" design.
7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)?
- It's sounded like Ritual of the Night will have multiple playable characters. Curse of the Moon did, and it was really fun. That's something I'd like to see continue, as a more varied experience makes for a more engaging game.
What?
- I think that, in some way, gaining power from defeated enemies should continue. It makes it more meaningful to find and defeat a lot of different kinds of enemies. I think this is one of those areas where I can see them playing with the systems a lot. I can't think of anything specific I'd want to see, other than maybe some Monster Hunter-esque more heavily crafting focused system, but I definitely think there's a lot of room to experiment with this aspect of the game.
9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts)
- Another aspect that would be good for experimentation, but I wouldn't want to see EXP and levels totally gone. Maybe some hybrid system, though.
10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel?
- I think that advancing from character customization to outright creation would be a fun aspect, but also difficult to work into a story-based game like this. I think that some more flexibility in weapons would be nice. Both a larger variety, and maybe giving them multiple styles/modes.

I really hope Igavanias will continue 1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel? Yes, of course! Some nice amount. 2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter? I am not sure, as I don`t know anything about finances around development. Maybe the same amount that was given for Bloodstained, or a bit more. I am fine with both. I like how Castlevania did it.. 4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why? Zangetsu, he looks so cool and is he my favorite character, I like him a lot more than Miriam. I prefer to let him have his own game wide some mad skills. 5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)? I really want 2D sprite graphics, no matter how long it takes, or how much it costs. It looks so much better! Less 3D the better. I am very happy just to get the big castle to explore. If additional levels exist, it makes game more rich and interesting, but it is not a necessity. 7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)? Male. Please, it is time. We had Ecclesia and now Bloodstained with females, I am hungry for Igavania with a male badass character. What? I don`t care what it is, although my favorite is just this-especially Sorrow games with soul collecting and getting abilities from monsters. 9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts) I like EXP and leveling. 10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel? I always want Ayami Kojima and Michiru Yamane on board!

1) Would you agree and/or contribute to a new Kickstarter for a Bloodstained sequel? No
2) How much would you consider to be "fair" as a goal if Bloodstained sequel required a Kickstarter? -
3) Would you like if Bloodstained followed a consistent timeline (with each game happening after the other one) a convoluted timeline (like Castlevania, where games was released at different centuries and years) or a meta-like timeline (where each game happens at it's own universe, sharing common elements, like most Final Fantasy games) or some other way? No. Time itself could be the concept. Use realms, use timetravel, use dimensions. If Bloodstained 7 would to go back to make Bloodstained 1 never happen, so be it! Follow the games it would make sense in the end, roll with it.
4) Would you like to see any character from Ritual of the Night, in the direct sequel of Bloodstained? Who? Why? We need that connection, one or many needs to be in sequels. But not in prequels.5) Would you prefer if Bloodstained Sequel followed 2.5D like Ritual of the Night, or something else? (Such as 2D sprite graphics, or a complete 3D gameplay)? Inti Creates can continue on the 2D route on their own behalf and style if they can borrow more assets from IGA-san. Bloodstained main game can continue on 2,5D but they could also make other games in 2D which would take on a new hero, but within same universe.6) Along the years, Igavania games tried to update or change the usual formula. I like SotN concept. Portrait and Ecclesia felt "spread out" and I wanted to explore the things between these areas, I never could. It felt hollow to me.7) Main character. Male or female? A single character or multiple characters (like Portrait of Ruin)? Do not really care, either will do, both will do. Pick one from start or unlock or just have one.8) IGA has stated before that Soul Dominance was the best magic system his team ever created and he wanted to use it again, or variations of it (that's one reason of why Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia exists). Bloodstained has the Shardbinder, that is a updated version of Soul Dominance. For a Bloodstained Sequel, would you like if the main character had a magic system following the same premise? (stealing something from enemies and using that as powers) or something completely different? What? Yeah Miriam could continue. Or if Zangetsu is playable, they can go that route, using souls and shards to something else. Miriam should stay, she might not have a legacy like the Belmont-family. So having her kicking demons for hundereds of years are fine too, even though there shouldnt' be a timeframe and just say "7 days later" or "7 years later". I would try to stay away from those things, and just say "Bloodstained 2 happened after Bloodstained 1" and thats it.9) Standard EXP and level, like most Igavanias, or some other kind of leveling system? (Like Lamment of Innocence, that ddn't had level nor EXP, but itens to upgrade Leon Health and Hearts) Standard EXP, its there for a reason. They could add in familiars like complex leveling too if they want.10) Anything else you would like to add for a Bloodstained Sequel? Look how people will mod Bloodstained 1, and make sure Bloodstained 2 take inspiration out of it. Fans making creative solutions and features might spark new ideas to base new systems upon. Also, make Bloodstained 2 mod-friendly, if its not already.
Thanks for the questions
