So the way I'm reading it in my head is like "sih," which I pronounce like "sear" without the r sound at the end, and then "wreath" like a Christmas wreath.
Thoughts? Disproofs? Arguments?

Looking at the katakana, it reads as Kahiraisu, so... Caheeraith? Ish.

Oh, I didn't see the katakana. Wouldn't have been able to read it anyway. I'm trying to learn, but so far I can only read hiragana.
Cah...hee..raith. I can go with that.

By pure luck alone. It's Welsh, so it isn't actually intended to be spoken by the human tongue. ("kahareth" seems close enough) EDIT: changed the approximate maybe possibly in the vicinity of correct pronunciation after reading this Welsh pronunciation guide.

From my post in the thread on the update, I'm going with "curry rice"

Yep, the correct pronunciation is Ka'hareth.
The apostrophe before the first "h" is supposed to indicate emphasis on the syllable after it.

Yep, the correct pronunciation is Ka'hareth. The apostrophe before the first "h" is supposed to indicate emphasis on the syllable after it. Is that Welsh or Klingon?
(sorry, couldn't resist)
