Hmm... Two situations come to mind, so I'll corrupt both.

SotN Alucard's demon form: Granted! You're now a Gargoyle-looking Creature for the rest of your life. Friends and family believe you're a real demon who took dragonkd away somehow, so you're now alone. Unfortunately, you cannot hide all that well, so the government captures you within a week.

Hellsing Alucard's demon form: Granted! You successfully transform, but you destroy your body in doing so, as mere humans are not supposed to be able to do this. So you disappear after you run out of energy in a few minutes...

I wish I had telekinetic abilities.

wish granted, but your wii remotes run out of battery.

Wish granted, but you quickly go mad with power and can't stop typing in rainbow text. It soon becomes an addiction and you can't stop typing in the multicoloured marvel of rainbow text. Before you know it a week has passed and you still haven't stopped typing. Days pass by like seconds and you soon lose track of time. After several years of none stop rainbow typing without food, water or sleep you pass away. Three years later your found still sitting at the exact spot where your wish was granted and to this day your post only made up of rainbow text that you spend so long on was never posted. Even to this day people still wonder how you managed to survive so long with food or water, some believe that it was the power of the rainbow text that keeper you alive for so long while other believe that you somehow feed off the rainbow text, but for know it will remain a mystery.
