Since I can't make a poll in the bug section, I figured I would do this the old fashioned way. Who all is on desktop and who is on laptop, in regards to trying to work the beta? I ask this, because I've noticed a pattern in laptop users having issues with any keyboard mappings/controllers working and figure this is the best way to gain the feedback for Question , Mana , Angel-Corlux and everyone.
What I hope to accomplish with this thread is to see if it may be on the laptop end of things or to see if it's an equal measure for both user types. Computer specs should be included, just for the sake of the information being fully at hand, so that maybe this can get better figured out and worked on.
Desktop PC
Game platform: Steam
CPU: Intel Core i3-4130 3.4ghz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
OS: Win7 64bit
RAM: 8GB
Edit: So, saw Pure Miriam post a thread a bit ago in regards to their 360 controller not responding, after accidental unplugging, until the computer was rebooted. Perhaps we should also add what we are playing the beta through? This sounds like it may also have to do with Steam derping something. |

I played the demo with a legit Xbox 360 controller and also tried with a legit Playstation 2 controller with a USB adaptor. I also tried playing with the keyboard.
My results are:
Xbox 360 controller: Works wonders.
Playstation 2 controller with USB adaptor: doesn't work.
Keyboard: works, but the default mapping is horrid.
Desktop PC
CPU: Intel Core i3 530 @ 2.93GHz
GPU: 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (EVGA)
OS: Win10 64bit
RAM: 8GB

Unsure how to with an active thread and at the bottom of the bugs section, it said that I couldn't create polls. I know that would be the far better route and even did a search for creating a poll and had no luck.
