Please don't let there be one button input for all weapons... I don't care if most weapons don't have them but having a generic button input will suck big time the point of the weapons that did have them in SotN was those weapons were special and it was always a surprise to find them in the game. you get a new weapon then you try out a button input and you are surprised when it worked...
As far as I can tell all boots do the same thing even when she is wearing no boots... I know it is a lot to ask for but please don't let this be true... that is what made Dawn of Sorrow's weapon system boring... all the weapons had a power move... sure there were some weapons that did something different but when you did find it it was novel at best because it still followed the basic move set of all that type of weapon. so adding a skull animation did not make the weapon better...

I actually pointed that out on my suggestions thread and i totally agree with you.
Bloodstained doesn't need to have special imputs for ALL weapons, but those who have, must be unique. All boots have the same special move and that is also the same for Katanas and such.
I prefer fewer weapons with special moves, but each special move being unique on it's own. SOTN had really crazy stuff, like a weapon that could spawn monsters, the famous Shield Rod + Sheild combo, among other things. The same could be truth for Bloodstained.

Like when you manage to obtain a very hard to craft weapon, that's only obtainable by that method or manage to find the proper secrets to access a 1 of a kind weapon? Those would be the best ones to have a special attached to them. Since this is supposed to be a bit of a spiritual successor (spiritual resurrection?) of SotN, perhaps we will see that implemented?

yes!!! I knew we were on the same page Pure but the funny thing is most weapons in SotN weren't all that special they basically did the same thing lol except for a few of them lol but That was what made them so special to collect... there were weapons that had "normal special powers" then there was those that shoot monsters out of them hahah... man so cool!!!
so I beg you Iga-sama and developers consider making button inputs rare

Totally agreed. A few special ones are better than many generic ones.
I think repetition between a few weapons are fine, since you might love a special move but the weapon attached to it gets too weak. It's good to have dome choice.
Or kerp the move, but vary it somewhat. Firebrand and Marsil was a great example from SOTN where the general idea of the special move was kept, but just expanded on for the next upgraded version of the weapon.
