Controls are completely botched (for present rig of mine).

Having had no luck yesterday, exactly as per the small discussion i opened... Today, i tried to stick a controller to my PC. Logitech. I had that one from some time ago, to play emulator Roms with. It didn't work at all. I tried sticking another keyboard, nothing worked. The (keyboard) key map others posted for me, doesn't work at all, my only functioning keys/commands, are:
1. Enter key, in menus and attack in game
2. Spacebar key, confirmation in menus and jump in game
3. WSAD and directional keys, Page Up for up
4. K letter key, opens inventory inside game, does nothing in menus
Nothing and i mean nothing at all, works, other than those buttons. No controller, no native keyboard of my laptop, no any other keyboard i stick. Some people on Steam forums, also report on this issue. I searched game files a bit and there wasn't an .ini file, or any other text file, with changing parameters and tampering with options. I deemed the situation dire enough, to report. I was able to reach the door, where game asks you for rotational gamepad maneuver, got stuck there for good, and quit.
