The shard description says it's supposed to increase attack of one-handed swords and maces. Looking at the Atk stat under Rank/Grade it shows 0 Atk, even after getting it up to Grade 3. At first I thought it was because the swords I were using, specifically the Short Sword and Long Sword, had too low attack, but even after switching to Murgleis there is no Atk boost.  |

I noticed the same thing. Even increasing its rank doesnt start getting it to help. I am also not certain if it is increasing the attack speed or not. If it is, it is so small it is almost impossible to notice.

I thought enhancement shards weren't supposed to work, yet? Gah, I gotta remember where I had read it on here, but iirc, there was something mentioned on how we could gather them, but their effects wouldn't be active.
Edit: Enchant, not enhancement, derp on my end, tired. Also, after slogging through the last 3-4yrs worth of anything related to it, can't say I can find what I mentioned. May have remembered wrong.

If it is, it is so small it is almost impossible to notice. It does increase for rapier, which I causally obliterated Zangetsu with (his counter cannot reach me). I was doing 30+ attack with rank 1 per slash. |
