Sustained Actually, not exactly, but something along the lines was revealed. There was a joke update on Bloodstained, talking about a bitcoin feature (obviously a joke) that showed a menu with a mock-up edition to slap a bitcon option on it, that actually revealed this:  Although it does seem you can't have separate menus for costumes and stat gears, you can turn off the graphical representation of such gears in the game, so, if you are equipped with something you think it's not appealing visually, you can turn it off. (Ignore the cryptocurrency and wallet stuff, those things are jokes).
