I am honestly surprised this is happening was worried by the lame live action trailer but the gameplay one got me interested again. I love the original even though the ending was just odd sequel bait with no news for years other than rage 2 being canceled and a dlc that we got oddly 2 years later. Excited that the just cause people Avalanche Studios are involved since they have been keeping the mercenaries spirit alive thrue their games after pandemic was killed by EA, they also worked on the mad max game that also helps. I have a lot of problems with the style (I can't stand the Suicide Squad-esque aesthetic, complete with edgy "InSaNiTy RuLeS" quotes, and there are way too many post apocalyptic games around) but I have to admit that this looks fun.
The first Rage was an "okay" game to me, so it puzzles me why they decided to do a sequel to that, but whatever. I may catch this during a sale or something like that.

freddythemonkey waiting for a sale is really the best way to go with most games, yeah the neon pink motif is odd only neon I remember from the original game was neon signs inside towns but the gangs were mostly british punk or brown washed out colors. I really don't see how insanity is edgy unless you have it tattooed to your head like joker ofcourse.

All these catchphrases like "Insanity rules" accompanied with crazy-looking guys with bright-pink colored mohawks and such, from my perspective, are trying way too hard to look cool. I don't really like that, the first Rage was much more serious. |

Nanaki yeah I hope so the gunplay and AI may not be as interesting as the first one but everything else looks pretty good, they are using an engine that was used for avalanches mad max game not the experimental ID one used in the first rage.
