I was not hyped for this game, but I was looking forward to see how the soundtrack will end up like.
Opening
Beginning
Cross your heart (reused)
Research headquarters (reused)
Dracula Appears

Yeah well, even the cashgrabs Castlevanias have always had incredible music. Harmony of Despair (yes, I call that game a cashgrab that has nothing to do with the series as I intend it) had awesome remixes and this is looking like the same situation. I'll listen with pleasure.
(hell, even the Pachislots had some otherwordly compositions like Trezire de Spirit)

this is surprisingly good, no matter how much they can butcher the castlevania frachise they just can't mess up when it comes to remixing the soudtracks of previous games.
1. Opening theme. call me crazy but i can hear Bloodstained theme vibes into this one. 2. Beggining. good as always, theres like 6 official versions of this track and its awesome. 3. Cross your heart/ Crucifix held close. this one rocks! wish i had this one for harmony of despair. 4. Research headquarters. pretty sure this is the exact same track used in Lament of innocence for Rinaldo's shop. never expected to listen to something like that in this game. 5. Dracula appears. so, they turned Aria of sorrow chapel track into an amazing intro version for Mr.Vlad? that caught me offguard.
so far so good. not dissapointed but... sigh.. konami.

In my opinion that game and its idea had a lot of potential. If Konami wasn't so halfassed on it and give some money for the production it could have been something even better. The combination of way too much recycled content (even the music) and no real graphical improvement are legitimate things against it but it was very fun for many of us, I've actually poured more hours on it than almost all, if not all Castlevania games I played. In my opinion it's an insult to compare this with Grimoire of Souls.

Dracula Appears is actually called Requiem for the Dark Souls.
Every single track except for the first one are from previous soundtracks.

I thought that at first too (that they were all ripped from either Judgement or HoD), but these remixes (and of course the hub/menu songs) seem new. I'm not as familiar with the Pachi games' music so they could be from that? I don't think so either, though.

I guess my gut reaction was right then.

I just don't get why they have to recycle music. Surely they learned from HoD that people are willing to pay for music packs. But I'm definitely not paying for that.
