Or how about...
In order to achieve True Ending, you need to enter a secret room unmarked on map. You can buy hints, for 5$ each, about it's placement. When you have all hints (not earlier), you will be allowed to pay 10$ to but a map add on that will flat out mark the room on map. And once you find it, in order to enter, you need to buy a key for 20$.

paid costumes have stat bonuses where free ones don't. personally not concerned about save slots at all though considering I'm getting it for Switch though, it has extra save slots by default just by changing what profile you log in the game with so I don't know if they could take away that ability if they wanted to Well... this post did not age well.
